Discover Restaurants offering the best Mediterranean food in Gdansk, Pomerania Province, Poland. One of Poland’s most beautiful cities, Gdansk, on the Baltic Sea, has played major roles in history, especially in the 20th-century. It was the 1939 flash point of World War II, and then in 1980, the birthplace of the Solidarnosc labor movement, ushering the end of Communist domination in Eastern Europe. Gdansk’s Old Town, painstakingly reconstructed to its Hanseatic League glory after being leveled in World War II, is a highlight. The 14th-century Town Hall houses the city’s historical museum.

A nice restaurant in the Metropolia shopping centre and next to the Focus Premium hotel. The restaurant is very cosy and we liked the interior very much. Personnel is friendly - and busy as it seems to be almost full all the time. Very good pizzas and salads.

Underwhelming is the best way to describe our experience at this restaurant. Firstly the stakes were excellent (but expensive for Poland) the sides were less than inspiring bordering on poor. The service was appalling it took over two hours to get drinks and our main course and the staff were just not interested. I would not go back.Dear trevwag, thank You for Your opinion. "Firstly the stakes were excellent (but expensive for Poland)" - we work with the best product You can get and that is why Your steak ware excellent...maybe a bit more expensive, but as You mention excellent "it took over two hours to get drinks and our main course" - please describe Your waiter, give as date and time of Your stay. We will check our cameras. Please forgive me, but we never had such an situation. It is not possible, two hours for drinks and food⦠and You didnât leave â¦

We came upon this restaurant in Gdansk when looking for a good fish dinner. We were able to get in without a reservation, but one is recommended. The appetizer of marinated trout with beet root, caviar was delicious. My wife's main course was the best Halibut she ever had - buttery texture with risotto, celery, mushrooms, prawns. I had home made pappardelle fruitti di mare in a light but very flavorful broth - also outstanding. Our server was kind and friendly with excellent English and great knowledge of the restaurant's offerings. Atmosphere is sophisticated and modern. Many locals eat here - always a good sign, Truly a memorable meal.https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g274725-d12034043-r710003371-Correze-Gdansk_Pomerania_Province_Northern_Poland.html#Dear Neil what a wonderful review- thank You very much :) It was a huge pleasure to meet you. The restaurant is small and warmly lit which gives it a lovely cosy atmosphere. We both had pasta dishes that were delicious. Pasta was nice and al dente and beautifully presented. Dishes were well flavoured and left us feeling nice and full. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip

We established our restaurant out of a passion for combining flavors. We add a French twist to a modern and meticulous approach to Polish cuisine, leaving out the frogs and snails. Winne Grono (Fertile Vine) seeks to revitalize classic cooking. As to our
We ate here last night. The restaurant has a warm, traditional interior. We were seated upstairs, which I think is preferable to downstairs and we were in the window so the best table in the house (in my opinion) looking over St Maryâs Basilica. We had French onion soup and scallops. Scallops particularly good (though rich). We both had the sea bass which was perfectly cooked and served with delicious buttery mange tout. Creme brûlée and chocolate fondant to finish off. All delicious. We saw others being served lovely looking meat courses, though they looked filling and we fancied a dessert. We were given a couple of digestifs, raspberry vodka and goldwasser, which was a nice touch. Would definitely go back and heartily recommend. Suggest booking in advance as we saw quite a few people being turned away (Iâd booked a couple of weeks in advance) as we were keen on trying both this restaurant and the one in the number one TA spot (tonight!)
