I had dinner for the first time after hearing about this place, so the expectations were quite high... the place is nice, very big and always quite crowded. The menu is rather large, especially for the choice of the pasta, and the speed of service is really incredible, which makes me think, however, that the pasta is precooked and sauces all ready. I expected the meat to be tastier, and cooked more appropriately; I asked for a rib-eye rare but when it came to the table meat was not even warm and still cold inside. Maybe an unlucky evening, I'll come back to try the pizza maybe...

I was expecting a typical Ciociaria resturant instead I got something I didn't expect the dishes are just amazingly delicious especially the seafood and the desserts are one of the best I had especially the torta. I enjoy my evening and plan to go again when I go back to Italy.

Ancient Trattoria opened since 1906 offering the only and authentic Ciociaria cuisine. Everything is made in house and served fresh at the moment. The signature plate is the Abbuticchio. Come by and try our food!
We dined at Sestilio couple times during our staying at Torrice and we loved the food. Homemade pasta and traditional dishes were exceptional. Excellent family owned restaurant that has been around for many generations. Both service and food were great and we will definitely visit again when we return to Torrice. Thank you Sante for the great dining experience.

To recommend this restaurant is not very difficult at all, the food was fantastic. Not only was the quality of the cooking something to admire, but the staff were wonderful; equal parts kind, knowledgable and attentive. If you are ever in Frosinone, make this the first place you visit to eat!Grazie

Having enjoyed pranzo in May 2014, this was the first "osteria" that was on my list to return to. The chef is passionate and committed to ensuring that every dish is perfect and robust with flavour. From anitpasto to pasta to meat...every mouthful is worth savouring. We enjoyed it so much that after an amazing pranzo we returned 2 days later for cena! This osteria is frequented by the locals, and is filled to capacity, especially for dinner. Just to be safe, call ahead for reservations...You will not be disappointed!

The quality that offers Osteria Santa Lucia is significantly better than even the finest restaurants in Frosinone. The fresh seafood crumbles under your fork and melts in your mouth. The wine selection is vast and the atmosphere is lively. The staff is accommodating and attentive to detail. Nestled between the many shops and vicoletti of upper Frosinone you will enjoy a nice walk after your delicious meal. p.s. the prices are very reasonable so you'll have some extra cash for your passeggiata...

Average food fish, we have ok startes and flled fish pasta that was not really tasting so much, not sure if food was frozen there. No wine list offered I would say that the good think was the dessert (millefoglie was very well done) a place that you will forget soon and not suggest.

Our group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing lunch here last October on our way back to Rome from Sorrento. The service was terrific thanks to the kindness and hard work of our server Stefan. He helped us navigate the extensive, fabulous menu, wine choices, etc. We all loved the antipasto and highly recommend starting with it! We all selected pasta dishes, which were all crazy good. As a Celiac, I rarely enjoy the Gluten free pasta at a restaurant, fearing cross-contamination, but here the Gluten free pasta is cooked in a separate pot, using fresh water. It was so good and we would return on our next Italy visit.Dear barbarascookies,We would like to thank you for your wonderful review and for your kind words on Osteria Volsci. We are glad to know our service has added value to your visit, by providing best suggestions on food and wine choices among our extensive premium menu.We are also very happy to read your comment on our gluten free selections and proud you have enjoyed your meal due to our experience in this field. We look forward to seeing you again soon during your next trip to Italy. Next time, please also take a chance to visit our beautiful mother land Ciociaria and stunning cost not far from Frosinone (Sabaudia, Circeo, Ponza island, etc). With best regards,Osteria Volsci
