Outstanding food - every dish was a hit. The appetizer cheeses and charcuterie were great. Fabulous Mac n Cheese with smoked bacon, seared scallops and sweet pea risotto. Sautéed spinach was perfect. Service is very helpful and friendly, décor is OK, although the special glassed in room with wine racks looks terrific for 6 or more. There is nothing to compare with Fino for miles around. I can't wait to go back.

Iâm just returning from lunch. I had grilled octopus, grilled calamari, and the seafood pasta along with fresh bread drizzled in olive oil. If you like those things...youâll not find it better anywhere in the WORLD !!My landlubber friend ordered grill chicken. It wasnât very good and we told the staff. They took it off the check. Class act and appreciated!!

Mediterranean/Continental/Restaurant
This visit to Crabtrees was our first since it opened. Mediterranean/American style is not my first choice for eating out. But to make the wife happy and our friend happy since it was her birthday and our 50th anniversary. The service is excellent with water being repeatedly refilled and the crumbs removed very quickly. The 1st thing that annoyed me was this pesky fly throughout the whole time we were at the table. No one is going take swats during a meal so I have no solution. The front door is constantly being opened. My 2nd problem (and I know it is my fault), was the vegetables. Each dish comes with mashed potato and a mix of vegetables like yellow and green zucchini, stringbeans, and pieces of broccoli(ugh) and some slices of beets (ugh 2).For starters our friend had the buratta salad and i shared the escargot with wifey. That came in the full shell on a plate of garlic sauce which is what makes this dish so good. For main course our friend had the darla's chicken, wife had the salmon and I had the porterhouse style 16 ounce pork chop. The chop was huge and covered with sauteed peppers and onions. The chop was very good but I probably would have been happier had I stuck with my first thought of getting 2 appetizers and a salad. I studied the menu and really wanted the calamari plate and the escargot with a salad.Appetizers and salads run from $11-15 while most main dishes run in the teens to 30+.When we arrived the place was not too filled but when we left on a Sunday nite , it was packed. If you are still hungry for dessert, get the gelato.

Mythos authentic Greek Cuisine provides Greek food and dining to the flushing, NY area.
The food here reminds me of the food I have eaten in Greece. It is very authentic tasting and is served by Greeks. Be prepared to eat too much and take a doggy bag home. Although your main course portions will be huge and delicious, do not skimp on the appetizers which are excellent. I could make a meal on just the dips and bread. We tried the salmon, chicken breast, mousaka, and pastitsio and all were excellent. The only complaint I have is their use of canned vegetables. We were there in September when there is a glut of local produce available and yet we were served canned peas. Also they have a pretty limited wine-by-the-glass selection - mostly California. In any event, if you want genuine and delicious Greek food, go here.

A group of 7 had dinner in their outside terrace on a Tuesday evening and were very satisfied with our dinners. The terrace is very large and airy, not claustrophobic as some outdoor dining areas are. We started our meal with Zucchini chips, fried calamari and a salad along with a lovely bottle of Rose. Dinners were salmon, sea bass, steak and seafood over linguine. The appetizers and dinners were all very good to excellent. We finished off our meals with Ekma(greek dessert of whipped creme and crushed walnuts and honey), creme brulee and brownie sundae, all very good. There is valet parking at the side of the restaurant which is a plus. A nice place conveniently located off the Clearview Expressway on Northern Blvd., a bit pricey but perfect for a special occassion.

We came for a family celebration. This is certainly our favorite Greek restaurant and possibly our favorite family restaurant. We have been coming here since Farias opened. Our little kids love the octopus grilled. We enjoyed for appetizer A delicious summer salad with water billing. We also had fried calamari, so I cannot do,. For entrées several of us had swordfish steak, lamb chops, branzino, and stuff flounder. Everything was fabulous. The house was great as was the Greek beer and a delicious coffee frappe. We were very fortunate to see Maria, the owner and famous chef from the TV show âChoppedâ. She received a big award the same day for being an outstanding immigrant business woman in Queens County. Maria is just great. This is a lovely family-owned restaurant with fabulous food. We recommend reservations.

Authentic Greek Food.
I started buying my gyro stuff from this place since Gyro King changed ownership. I like there food in general. When you order take (1) sandwich, it can take up to 15 minutes. Pretty surprising when you just of a chicken soulvaki? Eat in is nice, however, they don't give you enough pita bread when you order an entrée. All in all good gyros in general.

This restaurant was recommended by friends for a family dinner with the accent on Greek cuisine of course.. We mostly ordered lamb kebabs but found these remarkably tough and without flavour. We were very surprised by the charges for wine when finally receiving the bill - frankly outrageous. In addition as a party of eight we were placed in what one might describe as a corridor. Cross this one off your list !
