A surprising comment, you might think, but many Italian restaurants in Britain, even including some of those actually run by Italians, donât really make the effort to go beyond a superficial rendering of standard dishes. Went for lunch with a group of friends, excellent set lunch, lots of choice, generous servings and very friendly helpful staff. Will be back again for an evening meal.

Was in the area and looking for somewhere to eat, saw this place as I drove along and decided to give it a try, absolutely not disappointed at all, great selection and all well cooked and presented with friendly staff. Not sure about the negative reviews, speak as you find.

We returned to visit Cafe Capriccio as it was my sisterâs birthday and itâs one of her favourite restaurants.The menu offers good quality Italian food at reasonable prices, staff are always friendly, courteous and polite.Another very enjoyable experience, food quality is excellent.

Food was excellent.Tomato onion salad ...the onions were far to thick and it was one (1) tomato, but tasted goodPizza and noodles were tine, but i guess the noodles were from mass production, not italian hand madePizza was fineThe only thing that annoyed me was the constant chit chatter of the waitresses with their young friends which was obviously more interessting than the guest waiting to pay his bill

From first arriving and ordered drinks at the bar, the waiter was rude and unfriendly, if it hadn't been for a group of us meeting, I would have left then, and as the meal went on I wish we had. The food was average, and no attention was made while taken the order. Would not return.

Make sure you book in advanced to avoid disappointment as this place is always busy! With both and outside area for the summer and an inside section for the colder months you can enjoy this amazing food at any time. The manchego cheese with red onion is my favourite. Amazing service, the girl serving us was so lovely and we found out it was her first day! Good job and great food!

Great value, great food, great service. Highly recommended, the best Mezze for miles around. A busy,busy restaurant serving quality, fresh, well presented food. Not designed for 'lingering meals' but the place is 'buzzing'.

The area around heathrow isnât pretty, but every turd has a silver lining; even filthy heathrow. If youâre interested in plain, honest excellent food, Moniz is the place for you. Of particular note is the quality of the produce served here. It is nothing short of spectacular. Chosen with love and devotion by a Portuguese family who actually care about what they put before you on the table. A fine selection of reasonably priced Portuguese wines and deserts that would, I promise you, tempt the devil himself. Absolutely spectacular. Iâve eaten here many times over the years, thanks be to God. Highly recommended in every imaginable way. Worth the trip from central London. Outstanding. Obrigado Moniz!

I took my family for Sunday lunch. We really enjoyed it. The food is very good. The atmosphere was superb. The staff are superb. Liver & a bottle of Barolo knockout.
