We waited over an hour for just our starters with no recognition or apology from the staff. The restaurant wasn't busy so no excuse there. When the food eventually arrived (all at different times) it was below average: coated in salt and looked like it had been cooked from frozen. After explaining our dissatisfaction to the owner, we were told "it is a slow restaurant, we're not selling hamburgers!" To say it was unprofessional would be an understatement, 'disgraceful' would be more appropriate. We will certainly not be visiting again and I strong advise that no one else does either!!!

This place has all it needs for a perfect day at the beach! Or two or three...Great food for breakfast, lunch or early dinner. Some of it even homemade, all freshly prepared and very tasty.Great drinks (try the Aperol Spritz!).Everything reasonably priced. And most of all: great people in kitchen and service! It's a family business and you feel that they really care for their guests. The owner is present every day chatting with customers and supporting his staff on busy times in the service. What more do you need to know about "just" a beach bar?!See for yourself :)

Next time I order upfront and eat the pizza outside on te street

We chanced upon this unpretentious cafeteria on New Year's Day, when many other places were firmly shut! And despite no menu and no English, we enjoyed a four course lunch with wine, water and coffee, for 10 Euros each - beat that!As soon as we sat down, with some clearly local customers, we were approached by one of the two lady owners, who offered us soup from the tourine she was carrying, or pasta: she then presented us with cutlery and one bottle each of rose wine and water con- and sin- gaz! These were then followed by a main course of chicken or fish - each with vegetables - an ice cream or creme caramel desert, and coffee. And when, overwhelmed by these simple and inexpensive offerings, we departed leaving thirty Euros, she ran after us, insisting that this was too much! But don't take our word for it, try it for yourselves: it's in the main square near the fountain and opposite the old railway station (hence the name) and with free parking in the road.

On a sunny day it's hard to beat this restaurant for its location and views and we have been really impressed by the Menu del Dia for about 20â¬. Ordinary ingredients are turned into extraordinary dishes. Everything was delicious especially the pear clafoutis. My husband was a little disappointed with the soup which he said was a little floury but all in all it was excellent as usual. The staff here are always welcoming and positive. LOVE IT

It is a real pitty that there are not many guest in the restaurant. The food is just great and full of fantasy. The service is great. Father leads the service, the son the kitchen. Have a try... you come back again

We have passed this restaurant many times meaning to stop, so tonight we did, first impressions were very canteen looking, lots of tables not laid properly and not looking inviting, the service was good but not keen on waiters âhoveringâ, the food was very average. Probably wouldnât return.

This place was recommended, but unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. Mainly German diners and we did feel a bit neglected for other diners. There is an English menu and the food was ok. I had pork, which was very slightly over cooked. Wine was ok but all quite pricey. Setting is very nice and there was live music. Not for me and I wouldn't return.

We have just returned home from having spent five days ( 4 nights) B&B in this wonderful location. Everything was superb from the sparkling room, lovely staff, excellent food and of course the location above the marina with superb views. Special mention to Sergio, Luis and Sylvie and all the pleasant staff. A memorable visit. We shall return.
