We tried this restaurant after our local Greek closed down. The Deluxe Banquet was far more than we could eat but had all the traditional Greek favourites. Good value too. The staff - father and son - were really friendly and made you feel right at home. Good old fashioned Greek hospitality.

Cafe e Cucina hosted a group of 45 staff members from Football Victoria for a late celebratory lunch this week. Not only was our meal absolutely beautiful, the service we received was so personalised, warm and friendly, we’ve been talking about the experience in the office ever since. I cannot thank Mauro, Massimo, Arthur and the entire team enough for creating a very special afternoon for us.

If you love tapas food then you're going to LOVE Las Tapas in St Kilda. Inspired by the lively street-style eating of Spain, Las Tapas brings Melburnians an incredibly unique tapas bar, dishing up simple Spanish dishes direct from their fresh market menu.
Frankly there is not a lot to say about this place that is positive. We arrived for their early sitting, and then were promptly ignored for at least 15-20 minutes whilst other diners (who arrived after us) placed orders and had their drinks, and in some cases food, served. Having finally had to speak directly to the staff, we placed our order - we went for their set menu, to get a variety of the house favourites. We then waited for about 30 minutes (other tables food coming out), then queried with a staff member where our first tapas was (mere olives). We were then told there was an ordering issue with their system - not our problem, but at least that got us three dishes (of the 7 all up). Thinking they were back on track, but it was a false dawn. No more plates turned up for another 45 minutes (other diners continuing to get theirs), so we escalated to the manager (who to that point had confined himself for the last hour or so to fraternising with his preferred local boho type diners). Again the ordering system was raised. Again, not our problem! We made the smart decision to leave and eat somewhere else we were more welcome. At least the manager had the decency not to charge us for any food or drinks we’d had to that point. He may be better placed in future focusing on what is happening in his tapas bar, to ensure all diners are appropriately attended to.Im Xavier the owner of Las Tapas . Le Cinque Terre brings an exciting mix of Spanish and Italian flavours to Bay Street, Brighton. This cheerful tapas and antipasto bar boasts a cosy dining room with an open kitchen, making guests feel at home as they watch their creations being cooked. Th
My husband, my son and I had dinner on a recent Sunday evening in the Garden Room at the back of this restaurant. We had a selection of tapas which were beautifully presented and delicious and then we each had a main and we were all delighted with out choices. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious and the service was really excellent with a very friendly and helpful waiter. From the street, the restaurant is deceiving as one has no idea of the lovely atmosphere in the Garden Room at the rear of the restaurant. We will definitely be returning.

It’s a solid 4 out of 5. Tullum is an impressive modern Turkish restaurant. We enjoyed our lunch here today. It’s upmarket and it works. We started with the calamari with harissa, walnut and breadcrumbs. It was our dish of the meal as it had delicious flavour and texture. The lentil kofta with molasses and nasturtium was a good dish too as were the sardines with bay leaves, tarator and cucumber. Probably the weakest dish but by no means a bad one were the beef dumplings with maras pepper, yoghurt and burnt butter. The finishing savoury dish was a beauty though - beef ribs with labneh, date, tahini, celeriac purée. The combination was a beauty. We concluded with tahini and eggplant ice cream which was most unusual but really delicious. We had Turkish wines today with our which were OK. I’ve never quite seen eye to eye with Turkish wines, either here or in Turkey itself. I find them a bit eccentric. When I come here again I think I’ll go for non Turkish wines.Service was good here today. The staff were up and about and pleasant and responsive. we were given very good explanations of the key dishes. It’s a good restaurant. I’d happily return anytime.HiThank you so much for the great reviewHave passed on your comments to the teamLooking forward to seeing you again soon

Our 'local' turned out to e a highlight of our Melbourne stay. From the minute we stepped inside this tiny [27 sq m!] restaurant we felt at home. Our waitress, Carolina, was a gem - ensuring always that we had enough water and wine, and were enjoying our food, without ever being intrusive. Everything is made on the premises and served up with Italian music in the background. Just fabulous and can't be recommended highly enough.

Fabulous wait staff, Peter, helpful and friendly without taking over, especially since it took us about half an hour to make up our minds. Ordered drinks speedily delivered and after ordering meals were soon delivered hot and tasty. My beef rage was had lots of meat and a generous serving. Dessert was also nice ; the restaurant is ideal for a cheap and cheerful meal.

Good food is shared food. The best seafood in town. Kitchen open 12pm - 10pm every day. Our side bar has live music daily and is open until 1am.
One of the best seafood lunches (meals) we've ever had. Not only was the food fantastic and the decor fabulous, but our waitress was charming as well and we were so pleased we'd ventured inside. Actually the exterior of the restaurant was the first draw card! If we'd been staying in Melbourne longer, we would have ventured back, especially to enjoy a 'gig'. We shall definitely return when we venture south again. Many thanks to all :).
