Finding ourselves famished and ready for some tasty food after strolling Forest Row, we were recommended to pop in for a quick bite. The pizzas are renown as the oven master is from Sardinia and really knows his pizza crust. I ordered a pizza, "Parmagiana" a Roasted Eggplant, Parmasan and Garlic w/tomato and Cheese, my husband had a Quesadilla with Chorizo, cheese and jalapeno, and our friend had a pizza, "Napoli" with Anchovies, capers, olives and parsley! I was eyeing the Buddha bowls and other salads that the ladies next to us had. They were colourful and looked so delicious! My husband and I found ourselves back there in a few days and ordered a delicious Prosciutto, Mozzerella, Basil, Tomato sandwich on a sofy baguette and my husband had a "Fresca" pizza with Prosciutto and Parmesan and Arugula and we sat ouside on the sidewalk in the shade. I was surprised that our waitress didn't have an English accent because she was Canadian and from Toronto! What a small world!

The authentic Spanish dining experience in Sussex!
Ate tapas here with family on a Thursday evening. Good atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff, busy restaurant. Chose a range of dishes including, baby squid, calamari, octopus, chicken livers, chorizo, tiger prawns, smoked peppers and manchego cheese. Finished off with a tasty Rioja, brandy and coffee. Sensible prices, and lots of reasons to keep returning to a great restaurant.

Rendezvous Brasserie offers a truly French Mediterranean dining experience in the heart of Westerham, in Kent.
Rendezvous Brasserie is welcoming, friendly, efficient and - rare for a restaurant these days - defiantly run for the convenience of its customers rather than robotically conforming to corporate dictats. It is a gem of a place in Westerham's main square, catering for visitors to the historic town as well as those passing through the Kent and Surrey borders which it straddles. And, when we were there, a good crowd of locals, which is always a good sign in an area where there are probably thirty-something eateries to choose from.We were offered the choice of three menus: a quick meal one, the all-day brasserie one and an a la carte. We mixed and matched from the latter two. I had a delicious onion soup topped with emmenthal cheese, followed by an excellent fillet steak with mushrooms, chips and spinach. Mrs mickchickuk uk chose a crab dish followed by a salmon crepe, pronouncing both delicious. The portions are huge, so we were too full for dessert, but it was all washed down with a very refreshing Provence rose. The service was discreet and nicely timed so that we felt neither neglected or rushed. The atmosphere in Rendezvous is buzzing in the main section, but a bit subdued in the secondary room (where we sat) and this area could do with livening up. But this is very much the sort of place where you can imagine people will return to time and again: certainly the variety of dishes listed in the brasserie section of the menu will ensure nobody gets bored with the food. A word of praise, too, for the very obliging and hard working staff.

Lobster night- Went with my two daughters on a spur of the moment thing â very warm welcome by the manager and two waitresses who showed us to a delightful table. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Drinks arrived swiftly and our order promptly taken. We went for the Pesce e pesce â delicious fish, great dip and superb skinny fries. Washed down with an Italian white and a beer. All in all an excellent evening. They deserve to go from strength to strength.

We were a party of six, staying in Lingfield and stopped by Konak on Monday, disappointed to find it closed but returned the following evening and so pleased we did. Friendly, warm service, accommodating to my childrenâs request of âno onionsâ and the food was very generous and delicious. The Brie starter is a very generous portion, the feta pastry starter thing lovely and all of the mains we had delicious. Just over £140 for 6 people for 2 courses and drinks, we will return next time we come back to the Lingfield area.

Turkish kitchen
Nice looking restaurant. But let down by poor service. Ordered Gavi di Gavi at circa £24 a bottle. Arrived warm. We had no napkins on the table. Food was ok - pretty average though to be honest and not overly good value. Dessert and coffee menu not even offered. Will not be returning.

Cucina has quite an upmarket city feel for a restaurant in such a small country village, but it works so well. The service is prompt and food is fresh and full of flavour. They also do a very nice peach Bellini!Couldn't fault this place and now I know it's here, when I pass through Oxted again I know exactly where I'll be going.

I booked for a family (5 people) pre wedding celebration and made this clear at the time of booking. On arrival our table wasnât ready, but we sat and enjoyed our Prosecco in the bar. However we didnât get shown to our table for a further 35 minutes and still hadnât placed our food order an hour after our booking. The waiter taking the drinks orders kept shouting he couldnât hear us instead of coming closer and then forgot to bring the wine, no apology. So 1.5 hours after our reservation time we finally got our food - which was really good quality and almost but not quite worth the wait. Cannot comment on the desserts as by 10.30pm the night before a wedding we couldnât commit the time . The delays and poor service did not make the relaxed family celebration we wanted so despite the excellent food and attempts to apologise by just one member of the serving team I was left feeling very let down. They appear to be resting on their laurels and recognition as best restaurant in Westerham - they are busy, their food is undoubtedly great but they are very careless of the overall customer experience. They deserve 5 stars for the food, 1 star for the service.
