I donât know how I could miss this place....itâs been open since 1977! Small unpretentious place with friendly and good service. The best thing is that this is a BYOB restaurant....a rarity in Maryland. Good traditional Greek restaurant with all of the usual suspects. Excellent Greek Salad, olives and a decent taramasalata. Wife had lamb and I had fish. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. Wish I had found this gem sooner. Will be back.
Visited the food truck during a torrential downpour at the Trifecta food truck festival. Upfront we were a bit skeptical as they claim to be " Best Gyro in Baltimore"After giving them a shot, we certainly agree they are one of the best. Hard to argue. Gyro's were well prepared and very tasty. Fries were great. Recommend for sure. Thanks!

We received such a warm welcome from Mouhcine, the owner of Twist. It was so nice to return for another great meal at Twist. The restaurant has two dining rooms. In the front, it is modern and upbeat with a great vibe. In the back, there is a beautifully decorated quiet and peaceful dining room. We really like the back dining room. We especially like that you can BYOB. There is a $5.00 per bottle corkage fee. Tonight, we enjoyed a Mediterranean lamb burger with feta cheese, red onions, roasted tomatoes, and harissa cucumber yogurt sauce, roasted Atlantic salmon topped with a lemon, beurre blanc & dill sauce; served with double order of seasonal vegetable, and a Pratt Street New York strip rubbed with garlic and topped with melted cheese and sautéed onions on a baguette. We were all delighted with our choices. We decided to end our delicious meals with something sweet, so we all had Dark Chocolate Gelato â so creamy and topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Thank you for a lovely, quiet evening.Maggi,Thank you for the marvelous feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you love your dining experiences with us at Twist so much. Our family comes here several times a year for lunch or dinner and I just realized I have never writtten a review for this wonderful restaurant. I believe I have been coming here for about 50 years and it is my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. Many a family birthday has been celebrated here, and perhaps I should mention that we are not even Greek. Yesterday 3 of us stopped in for lunch and we all would rate it 5 stars. We were seated immediately and our waters were brought out very quickly. A bread basket and a plate of dipping oil was served. Things we ordered were the moussaka platter which was served with a salad, a village salad, lemon soup, a regular Greek salad and saganaki, which is delicious cheese flame-baked at your tableside. We were all very happy with our selections and then our waitress brought us a complimentary piece of baklava for dessert. The food and service here are amazing. We could not have been more pleased. There is a parking lot just behind the restaurant. I have lived out of state for many years and I miss this restaurant. I highly recommend it. Thank you to the owners and staff for a wonderful time.

Located in Harbor East, Ouzo Bay focuses on authentic Greek cuisine, emphasizing the freshest seafood and responsible cuisine. The opulent space offers a full service bar and lounge, as well as an extensive patio with outdoor seating during the Spring and
We really enjoyed our dinner at Ouzo Bay last night. Our server was attentive and helpful. We started with the date and goat cheese dip and spanakopita. Both were delicious and perfect appetizers. I had the special heirloom tomatoes salad (tasty but a little soggy) and grilled octopus (amazing) Octopus can be a tricky item to prepare, but the chef nailed it. My husband had the sea bass. It was delicately seasoned and cooked to perfection. We would love to return on our next trip to Baltimore.
