This specific tavern was founded back in 1896, when the Greek state was taking its first steps. It has a history of over 120 years. The great grand son of the founder is following the route of tradition. The plates being served are harmoniously adjusted in the Greek rural environment.Being just two persons we tasted only the peas the special spinach pie the lamp in the wooden stove and the wild pork. The lamp was excellent and very smooth and not smelling at all - the father of the owner is actually breeds such lamps. The wild pork was also hunted by the same letskny and the homemade pasta were handmade by the owner's mother. The desserts were also handmade and delicious and the red wine very tasty. It was the best choice out of the rest restaurants of the area and the place ere you can taste traditional Greek flavours.I totally recommend it.

Generous servings, unpretentious, beautiful food at very good prices. We had lamb in olive oil and oregano served with home made fries, wild boar with fries and rice and a beautiful tomato based sauce, and a very tasty baked vegetable dish based on eggplant, all delicious. For all this and half a litre of cool red the bill was 38 euro.Service was very good, they just need more customers! Worth visiting the funky Bar Antica across the road too.

Tholos is in the center of Dimitsana and can provide inside and outside place to have your lunch or dinner. In the basement with nice atmosphere (old wooden tables and chairs), good and fast service & tasteful food, the overall value for money is excellent.

A wonderful restaurant in a wonderful mountain town. Local Arcadian dishes were very well-prepared and the delicious. We especially loved the stewed wild boar and local 'skordalia' made with walnuts, quite different from what we are usually given. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited this place on a Friday and we were the first customers. It was a great experience. The service was perfect. Warm people, with fantastic sense of humor and the cuisine was really good.We enjoyed the rabbit with fries dish and the fasolada (Greek traditional dish with beans). Two main dishes, one starter and a salad for 24 euros. Good value for money. They offer homemade liquors and Greek traditional sweets(spoon sweets) and they are awesome. Especially the liquor!!!!

H Zerzova tavern in the small village of Panagia Arcadia offers unique, simple rustic flavors, based strictly on traditional recipes, always using local, fresh ingredients depending on the time of year.
Zerzova is in a village were only 10 people live. They are mostly elderly people, with a smile on their face and a long wooden stick to walk in the woods surrounding the village (beautiful stick which I regret not to have bought!).The owner runs the restaurant, meaning he cooks, grows his own vegetables, hunts the meat (well, not the cows), and knows where to find wild asparagus. We had a delicious meal, abundant, well prepared, cared for. My husband is Italian and a great cook, so I know what Iâm talking about! The prices are so reasonable. But foremost the warmth of the welcome will make you, like me, want to encourage people to go there and enjoy an evening at Zerzova.
