We ate here as a group of six to celebrate my brotherâs graduation and had the most fantastic time. The food was absolutely fantastic and very authentic. The service was also excellent - the owner was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to give us a good experience. Would definitely return here if we were back in the area! :)

Friendly family run Cafe, Bistro, Pizzeria. We serve cold and hot drinks, freshly prepared food on site, home made cakes, stone baked pizzas in a wood fired pizza oven. Open 7 days a week.
Had lunch here yesterday which we really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food is very good. I had a really great pizza which was very tasty and my partner had a fish finger sandwich, which look enormous! With all that you might expect a 5 star rating but there were two things that took the edge off. Firstly, why the loud music, its irritating when your eating and seems out of place in such a nice setting. The other issue was the flat white, one shot but should be two for a proper flat white! Mentioned this to a member of staff whilst paying the bill and hope they might take this on board. Lovely venue with a decent menu and will go again.Dear Dave, many thanks for your comments. We take everything on board but it is very difficult to please everyone with some smaller details. We recently had someone saying to us they wouldn't mind the music being louder and have never had anyone saying its too loud as we are conscious of how loud music could affect the experience. Depends where you were sitting too? Flat white we absolutely always make with 2 shots. that is the only way, unless the girls are asked to make one with 1 shot in which case it is technically a latte then. But we are more than happy to learn you will come back to us and when there, please just let us know what you like or not and we can make sure it is how you like it. Thanks again and kind regards. TK

First time we have tried Steliana's and Sapho's Greek Taverna and we were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely starters, the courgette's were terrific and the tahini and hummus were very tasty. The mains did not disappoint either. The sword fish was excellent and the vegetable moussaka was delicious. All in all a lovely meal and we'll be back for more soon!Hi travelnew2015,Thank you for your kind review. Great to hear how much you enjoyed your first time dining with us.

Delightful unpretentious small Italian restaurant on 1st floor of an old building. Friendly welcome on arrival and good service. Could not fault the food and the panna cotta was delicious. Why go to a bland restaurant chain with good family run restaurants like the European!

A small friendly resturant that specialises in Italian and British food.
Evening meal with friends at the Clock Bistro on a Saturday night was simply excellent as it always is, staff are charming and helpful, owner is chatty, but the food is the real deal its marvellous, plenty of choices on the menu and the specials are tempting as well, always busy, booking a must. Plus they have Doom bar which is great.

This place was a great little find. For starters we had the gnocchi and portobello mushroom with goats cheese. Both were delicious. For mains we had sirloin steak and chicken. Both were cooked perfectly and came with delicious seasonable vegetables. For a busy Saturday night we did not have to wait long for our food to arrive contrary to some reviews that it took a while. The owner and staff were very friendly and polite and the atmosphere was lovely with the pianist playing upstairs. I imagine the upstairs seating could have been a bit noisy with the kitchen and piano in the room but in the basement area the volume was perfect. We will be sure to return again.
