I have visited salt and cravings on different ocassions for satiating my dessert cravings. This could be called one of the best places for food as well as desserts especially in the Astley hall vicinity. Tried their tiramisu, brownie with ice cream, chessecakes and all of them were delectable. The portions are big and the prices extremely reasonable. Their burritos are a must try. A must visit for those with a sweet tooth.

Was in the vicinity and really hungry at lunchtime. Checked the TA app and found this place. Bit of a disappointment. The service is really good. The ambiance is quirky, and interesting. However, the quirkiness is clearly over the top and there is a poster screaming at you from every nook and cranny. But thats ok, one gets used to it.I ordered a veg mezze platter and it turned out to be an Indian-ised version, with perhaps the only original items being the pita bread and hummus. The latter had too much oil, but still tasted like hummus. Everything else had been Indian-ised with copious amounts of cheese, potato and yogurt. I had to leave all those items (I detest wasting food) as it was just too heavy. It is my assumption that when a place serves so many different cuisines, from Thai to Indian to Mediterranean to Chinese to Continental, it is not possible to have a high quality for each dish. Perhaps some of their stuff is really good but my experience left me with a bad taste in the mouth.Would i eat here again? No.
