Typical Italian style restaurant with traditional dishes and pizzas, unfortunately not up to the usual standard of well run, busy, vibrant Italians restaurants, servicing good food.Service was slow, food was OK but not good value, owner was more interested in serving locals than tourists.

The reviews are right. The food and atmosphere are really excellent. The food menu is immense - there must be every 'standard Italian restaurant' dish known available. And yet, everything was fresh and tasty. The tiramisu desert was stand out.The reviews are also right about the staff. Not charming or welcoming. But efficient and fine, like a Parisien brasserie. Just go with that expectation and enjoy everything else.Value is good. 2.5 courses, no wine, 4 bottles of water between 3 of us was under â¬100. Gluten free pasta was available for one of our party who requested it.The restaurant is visible from the main Mont Blanc tunnel road (although once inside the restaurant you are only aware of the mountains not the road). This is a great dinner/lunch stop for someone on this route. But it would also be a very charming, quite smart, dinner stop if staying in the area.

A joy for palate and eyes served in the two restaurants: The Bistro for a break in the ski day; The Gourmet, spacious and bright, with its wide windows which frame the view onto the Mont Blanc, for your lunch or your dinner. On sunny days you can eat on t
We normally go for lunch during a ski day. The athmosphere is super nice both the bistrot and the restaurant. Quality of food is really good and also personnel very nice. Focaccia homemade is very tasty and crunchy. Local deli products are excellent. The terrace is amazing on a sunny day. The service is relatively quick. One of our favorite places to eat in Courmayeur

This was undoubtedly the culinary highlight of our week in Courmayeur. A very friendly atmosphere and very professionally rub. I had a starter of gnocchi with scallops - delicious. And a main course of fillet steak, beautifully cooked. House wine perfectly good and the whole evening cost c 50 Euros per head. 10 minutes walk from the town centre but well worth it!

Excellent Italian cuisine restaurant! Great staff who were fluent in many languages including English, French and Spanish. Relaxed atmosphere. We had a spectacular charcuterie and cheese plater with a selection of local products, followed by excellent pasta and THE BEST tiramisu for dessert. Definitely worth a visit when in Courmayeur! What a treat after a long hike!

I had heard that some of the best restaurants in Italy are in Courmayeur. This is clearly one that deserves a better ranking in TripAdvisor... We ended up going twice in the week we stayed in town. The fondue mousse which we had as first course is outstanding! It's rare that I am this enthusiastic about a dish. It's light, fluffy and very refined. My wife had fried sweetbreads on both our visits, while I was also tempted by the roast pigeon breast and bread crumbed leg. Both were excellent. I also had a chocolate and citrus fruit pudding. Pleasantly tangy but perhaps not chocolately enough for my liking. Excellent service in classy surroundings in what from the outside looks like a rather unpretentious building. A must if you are a gourmet staying in Courmayeur.

The hotel recommended us this place for a pizza and we were not disappointed! It was one of the best pizza I ever ate (and I am half Italian so I know what Iâm talking about). Fresh ingredients, thin dough and delicious tomato sauce. Plus it was so big I had to ask for a doggy-bag to bring 1/3 of it home ! The staff was very nice and the atmosphere is cosy and friendly (noisy in a good way). The place is very simple. I recommend !!!

I had been for a week end in Courmayeur with friends. The moment could not be more perfect than it was. A lot of snow after a great snowfall. The village plenty of a romantic atmosphere. And when we needed to complete the day with a beautiful dinner, we've got here, "Allo Sciatore", where the meats are "SUPER" but any other foods as well.Enjoy !

The whole atmsphere is lovely here. Staff are cheerful and friendly, and food is great. We had pasta with wild boar ragu and gnocchi with rabbit ragu; both were delicicious and very filling. Prices are fair. Highly recommend.

Paola and Nicolaâs restaurant offers the best food in Courmayeur by a mile. The innovative menu which combines creations from Sardinian and Val DâAosta specialties are simply superb. Each season they introduce some novelties but the quality of ingredients is always great. The ambience is super cozy. The hosts are super welcoming and gentle. Perfect place for lunch in the summer outdoor and in winter for lunch or dinner. Super recommended!
