Home to many diplomatic services and the largest population in the country, Cotonou is the de facto capital of Benin, although not the official one. Its location at the crossroads between numerous neighboring countries makes it a commercial hub, instrumental in opening trade to the African interior. From Cotonou travelers may depart for tours of the outlying regions. The nearby stilted village of Ganvie is a short day trip from the bustle of Boulevard St. Michel and the Dan Topka market.

The waiters were very nice, though.Dear Mr Luca R , thank you for passing By , Can you please precise during your visit what was not really so appealing ? we would be grateful to have your advice , it would help us to improve . we have been on promotion of pizza since january 2018 and our pizza 30 cm cost 3.500 Cfa ( aprox 7 usd ) and we are the cheapest now in Cotonou so please can you give us more precision how was it quite expensive ? mayebe there was a misunderstanding . your comments are always welcome , it would help us always improve ourselves .
Visited for lunch and was impressed upon arrival with how clean and modern the interior was. The menu has a nice variety, so you are sure to find something to entice you. Prices are moderate, service is reasonable fast.
Excellente nourriture libanaise.

It was my second visit to this place in two weeks and it's a nice restaurant, had Chicken Shawarma, It was really good. My friends ate Avacado shrimp salad that was also nice according to them, but service is bit slow, they need to improve their service part to make them even more popular in Cotonou.Only one problem i had, when we asked other waitress to assist with sauce but she asked us to request other waitress who attended us initially.

This is a lovely intimate restaurant with wonderful cuisine. The staff is wonderful and it's a mix of local and french cuisine. The setting is beautiful.

This restaurant is self-declared Italian, but most of the decoration is themed about Marseille and its key writer. This is a strange combination at best, or a nonsense of a concept, that does not augur much authenticity.Freshness and quality of service lack consistency, if I read well the reviews. Service can be everything from good to bad.The key to this was explained by the master of the house. The founding story is that his brother had fatal cardiovascular issues in a plane. The present owner, not willing to give up his job in center of Marseille, took over the restaurant, and let the local workforce manage the day-to-day running whilst visiting the place on a regular basis. We were lucky to meet the man, then. The plethora of (all local) staff does not always help to make the place feel neither French nor Italian. However, a traditional pizza oven is visible, as well as a rich decoration. The colourful owner could come out of a novel of Marcel Pagnol. This early-XXth century writer and filmmaker, apart from childhood memories, was into novels about Marseille and surroundings, and cannot be forgotten for the characters, such as Marius, Cesar, Jean De Florette, and a few others. A lot will be expressive, talkative, and seldom to be taken seriously. The language is rich of metaphors, and quite picturesque. The talking episode, however interesting, did not make us forget to examine the wine, served by a waiter who was lucky to differentiate between red and white wines, who had to learn on-the-go to smile, had to read what the (short, lacking variety) menu was all about, etc. This restaurant is very much a work-in-progress, unlikely to make much progress if no effective leadership gets into the scene. However, the pizzas that day were excellent, and the dinner ended up, by luck rather than planning, as a nice experience.
