Had dinner here with 7 friends. Was excited at the set dinner menu.Canât fault the food (5/5)However, the service and delay in drink orders (sometimes needing 3 reminders) was hugely disappointing. They could benefit from a great manager that can instil some really good service principles in the wait and bar staff (1/5).Also had issues with a final bill - they added a compulsory gratuity.Overall disappointing. If you thought the Coogee strip only offered touristy cafes and beer barns - think again. This place is the real deal when it comes to hospitality. Polished and professional but with a relaxed and unpretentious vibe. You'll be spoiled for choice with the incredible wine list so take advantage of the staff's expertise and don't hesitate to ask for suggestions. Been here twice now for a quick afternoon catch-up and a classy night out - and it ticked all the boxes on both occasions.Thank you for your kind words Prue. This is a really good Lebanese restaurant, authentic, tasty and fresh. It is located just down the street from the Belvoir Theatre and great for a pre-show meal, however its a short walk up a really steep hill to the theatre. Not great if you have a fully belly of food!

I was lucky enough to attend a third birthday dinner for Bibo Wine Bar this week. Not only do they have a highly original and unique selection of fabulous wines but these pair so effortlessly with their delicious food menu. Everything is a perfect match.Dinner was a selection of share plates starting with entree style smoked salmon pâté, the incredibly delicious scallop cru & finger lime, runner bean fitters, and the piri piri aubergine and the mouth watering Flambé chorizo. This was followed by the equally mouth watering main size Suckling Pig with Fennel, persimmon & pomegranate. We finished this with a quince & bergamot tart followed my mini Portuguese tarts straight out of the oven. All of this was with matching wines by the glass perfectly chosen from Portugal to Australia. All in all this was a wonderful evening. I would highly recommend Bibo Wine Bar for anything from a special dinner for two to a large group booking for a celebration. Either way you will be looked after and will have a truly special dinning experience.

The Bondi restaurant scene is constantly changing, but the Tratt remains a reliable local favourite. After the most recent facelift itâs cooler and more expensive than before. But the prices are still reasonable, the service is high standard, and the food ranges from good to very good. If in doubt, the pizzas and pasta never disappoint.Thanks for your kind words. We took over the Tratt just over two years ago now and we did give it a little facelift, but we wanted the space to continue being relaxed, but professional and overall welcoming. Somewhere for a fancy date night, somewhere for a bowl of pasta and a glass of wine, somewhere for a breezy breakfast, and many things in between. We make pasta in house now, and the sourdough culture for our pizzas is two years strong now too. We hope we're not too cool though!Thanks again, we look forward to welcoming you again soon at the Tratt.

Just came back from Hanoi Vietnam and really felt like greek food which was non existent in beautiful down town old and French quarter Hanoi. So nice that souvlaki country was able to deliver same excellent service and absolutely divine greek souvlaki plus cooked food that Maria organises on a daily base. Had the best vegetable oven baked meal with feta and the usual souvlaki to die for on wholemeal pitta bread. Need I say more... love the food ,love the service, and that says a lot for an eastern suburbs foodie.

Iâve been living in the neighborhood for six months now, and I canât believe I didnât come here sooner! It is surprisingly good, for a very reasonable price! The owner is there to interact with customers, which shows how the business is ran. We ordered mix platter for 2 which can easily serve 4. Great place to go with friends and family!

Del Punto is a quaint little tapas bar opposite the cinema in The Spot in Randwick. Monique was our delightful and most helpful waitress. Best tapas Iâve ever had by a country mile - and Iâve had a lot of tapas. Went with the El Camino to share between two. 9 dishes and each one was unique and distinctly delicious. Heirloom tomato and feta saladPotato and egg frittatachorizo and prawn skewersBaby octopus; paella balls; meatballs; patatas bravas; chicken skewers, beef parcels. We ordered a bottle of the Verdejo which was delicious also. My husband had the affogato for dessert and chose the Khalua liquor. He said it was very good also. In August they had a special $25 pp. delish Italian meal & glass of wine if you ate before 7pm...it was fantastic value, the service impeccable and the restaurant had a great vibe and view, definitely recommend on a visit to Coogee Beach

Consistently Good food & good atmosphere. The before 6.30pm deal Monday to Friday is excellent value. I keep going back when in Sydney so I must think itâs pretty good. Took friends there the other night & they said they will also be back
