over 25 years of excellence our award winning restaurant has been serving the twin cities with the best meddle eastern food using Mama Fatima original recipes , and providing them with the largest selections of fresh bread , olives , cheeses , olive oil a
Food was good. Holy Land claims to use humane sources for their meat products, non GMOs, and has vegan choices, a large menu choice, which is why I chose the restaurant to eat. But they use plastic silverware and Styrofoam. I won't be able to go back. Holy Land, PLEASE look at your environmental friendliness - it is severely lacking! Your fine establishment could be made excellent if you get rid of the single use plastic silverware, the Styrofoam, cups and lids made out of plastic and straws. Please consider using real silverware, the eat in dishes are real; and for take out please consider using compostable plates and take out dishes, compostable glasses, and if throw away silverware is to be used, please replace the plastic with compostable silverware! Thank you.Dear Kathy, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority and we are always striving for excellence. We are actually in the works of switching all plastic silverware to real silverware by the end of the year. Our to go silverware will also be switched. Unfortunately due to the heaviness of our food compostable to go containers do not hold up, we are however using city approved to go containers that our customers can reuse and recycle. We will keep working diligently to be as sustainable as possible while still providing our customers with the best possible experience.Kind Regards,Majdi Wadi CEO

Authentic middle eastern food prepared by our Turkish and Egyptian chefs. Scratch kitchen with large portions. This is a must check out restaurant in the Minneapolis area. We are a destination for many travelers.
Had several meals here this week and all were wonderful. The Turkish Bread, lentil soup, tabouli and mint salad, shrimp and rice were all wonderfully prepared and delicious. Had never had cardoman and cloves in saffron rice but what a wonderful flavor they added. Definitely recommend.

Costa Blanca Bistro in north Minneapolis is one of several Spanish restaurants in the area under one owner who obviously knows his tapas. You can look for something safe for the less adventurous Americanâmarinated pork jumps out. Or you can go daring, as in grilled octopus and cauliflower. A tapas for every palate, including apparently vegan shiitake mushrooms and spinach. The four plates we tried (including the octopus) varied from excellent to really good. We had little doubt the others were as good, and so nicely plated. The restaurantâs presentation itself is a little more modest, the decor consisting of some eight mirrors and a wine rack. Itâs also petite, about a dozen tables, and packed at 7:30 Friday. Consider reservations. Wine list includes some intriguing Spanish picks. We tried the low end at $34/bottle, but perfectly pleasant for that price point. Tap beer choices are a bit limited, but really, you go to a tapas bar to drink microbrews? Regarding menu prices, healthy eaters do need to be advised: the little plates cost around $12 average for most options. Unless youâre trying to stay thin as El Cid youâll need two. In fact, youâll need three, probably. The really hungry might want to consider finishing off with a burger down the street.

Our visit to Emily's was on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The tabouli salad and chicken kabobs with rice were so tasty. The side salad with all the extra toppings and yummy dressing also gets raves. All the tables in this small restaurant were filled, but the service was very good. Search out this place.
