Restaurant Le Capase, a jewel situated in the heart of the Itria Valley, is a perfect union of tradition, creativity and innovation. Set in an historic building with the whiteness of the stones, high vaulted ceilings, but with a modern touch. It is the pe
Serving the local food but not really with any style. Ok in terms of what we paid, but wouldn't rush back. Nice interior though and friendly staff.

We visited this restaurant on a recommendation, and found it to be in a quiet back street away from the tourist crowds. The owner Stefano was very welcoming and made us feel at home. There was a very good selection of meals available and good portions. There were a selection of breads and fresh marinated vegetables placed on the table before we had ordered anything.I chose rabbit from the specials which was cooked with rosemary and very tender, accompanied by roasted potatoes. My wife had the mushroom ravioli which was excellent.

Le Chicche is a lovely restaurant situated just off Piazza Vittoria Emmanuele down a pretty little narrow street. This restaurant is a typical Italian that serves good homecooked food. We had the Braciole with Orecchiette pasta and little meatballs which was lovely, followed by Tiramasu which was excellent. This restaurant is run by all of the family and were all actually eating their evening meal when we entered the restaurant, which was lovely to see.If you want traditional this is the place to visit.

I had the aubergine starter, which was four rolled slices of aubergine baked with a sweetish breadcrumb topping. It was like an aubergine crumble. For my main I had lamb encrusted with pistachios. It was four smallish pieces, with bones, served with a large portion of cabbage. It didn't work for me; I bit on tiny hard pieces which I don't know if they were nutshell or bone. My partner had seared tuna which was not much better, a large portion, but the artichoke it came with was very salty and the sun-dried tomatoes very sweet. They didn't have the white beer I ordered, so I settled for an IPA, which tasted nice but had a slightly unpleasant aroma. We also asked for a large bottle of still water, but were told they didn't sell this... the choice was a small still bottle or a medium slightly sparking one.I would not return.

We only ate at one rostericcia in Cisternino, but were really impressed with the quality and flavour of meat. We ordered the mixed plate and there was nothing that wasnât top quality. The bombettes with oozy mozzarella in the middle were perfect, lamb well cooked, and tasty well seasoned sausage. However the meat is absolutely the star of the show here, and the other items we ordered were only ok; the antipasti was ordinary and very small portions, and the salad was just iceberg lettuce. The house red was very cheap and just about drinkable.Fantastic atmosphere, very busy, but service was, on the whole, good. Do make a reservation in advance if you donât want to be disappointed.

A great spot! Excellent home cooking, extensive wine and beer list and really friendly service. The restaurant is in a beautiful square on the edge of the old town. We had two starters, two main courses two bottles of water, one bottle of fantastic wine and two espressos for 75 Euros (after discount deduction 60 Euros). If you book on TripAdvisor you often get the 20% discount on food and drinks, a good deal.

The restaurant is located in the town of Cisternino, in a structure dating back @tothe early 1700's which was once the site for the noble art of bread making. The round room, also know as the privèe, used to be one of the first wooden ovens where the local
We ate here on a recent visit to Cisternino. We often try the best rated place on TripAdvisor. The setting is really lovely, down a quaint, narrow, cobbled alley in the old town to a courtyard where tables are laid out to dine in the open air (around 10 tables maybe).Service was pretty efficient but we found the staff rather direct and impersonal, unlike our experience at Giardini 36 which was the total opposite. The food was decent but not exceptional, flavours were good but we thought it was expensive for what we got. Guys we are sorry about this, just because we kept for you our terrace, the most romantic and magic place in Mezzofanti, thinking it was perfect for your date, your anniversary.Kind regards

Giardini 36 is the place within our organic farm where you can dine, have lunch, enjoy an aperitivo or an afternoon snack. A lot of the produce comes from the organic farm:, extra virgin olive oil, liquors, jams, preserves and snacks are made with passion
Agritouristic restaurant with small menue. All products are from the region or even produced by the farm. In this small place you feel straight at home, sitting at the big table with cactuses or on the standing tables. The wine is very tasty and you can just stay and eat through the small menue. A hot soup or a savoury cake. Come here when you need some talking time and relaxing evening with good friends.

We had a wonderful lunch at Mehta. The chef, served several âAmuse Boucheâ items and a glass of sparkling Rosé before we ordered. He took a lot of time explaining the source and preparation of each dish. Being in Martina Franca, itâs unlikely they will ever win a Michelin Star, but they certainly deserve one. It was fantastico!
