Of all the restaurants in Chiavari, this restaurant was highly recommended by a local, but fell short. We all ordered salads and different macheronis (mine had shrimp). The delivery was slow and the meal didn't seem to be particularly memorable. The three of agreed that this was the least favorite restaurant during our 8 nights in Chiavari.

We were very disappointed. The Fish soup didn't have a single piece of fish in it. Pasta was ok. The Steak (medium ordered) was burnt black outside and completly raw inside. Mashed potatos were allright. According to our travel guide should the Restaurant owned by a friendly, happy couple (Man in the Restaurant, wife in the kitchen). We think both of them had a day off or even they are not there anymore. We left disappointed the place.

Trattoria and Cocktail bar with the interior design that will pull you back into the 20's and 30's. We have a "a la carte menu" for the inside trattoria where we follow the seasonality of all the ingredients we use and we have a separate menu of "street f
This restaurant is worth visiting for the atmosphere and ambience - great fun with all sorts of interesting decorations and a blue-tiled kitchen visible through the hatch. Food was also very good, starters, mains and desserts. Dishes were well-cooked with unusual choices of flavours. The amuse-bouche (?fried chickpea bread things?) was a bit disappointing and a very filling way to start a meal, but it was good to taste a local speciality. My boyfriend enjoyed the beef tartare starter and tripe main course. My risotto with nuts and gorgonzola was al dente (just to warn you in case you like your rice softer) and an interesting red colour! We tried all the 4 red wines which were offered by the glass (one glass of each between 2 of us), first the lighter ones then the full-bodied ones, which allowed us to appreciate the different flavours.Best to make a reservation - we only just managed to get a table on a Wednesday night. Total cost for 2 people having a 3 course meal with drinks was around 80-90 euros.

Tavern with a modern twist, which focuses on quality and freshness of the food served by following the seasons, always keeping the best value for money for six foods that for the wines.
It was sad from the beginning, finding just one child seat for our two babies, and got worse as food came. The pasta al pesto for the kids was good and came early as requested, the "insalatona" was an average salad with some tuna, the "calamari fritti" were gummy and cold, the menu @ 12 euro was terrible (pomodoro pasta with 2 pieces of octopus, and non eatable "seppie" )... The wine, both white and red was horrible, but mostly, when they asked if everything was ok, when I said that some food wasn't as good as I expected, they started arguing saying that at that price you won't get anything better!!! This is simply unacceptable and I suggest you to try another place instead.

I really dislike posting negative reviews, but in this case, for the sake of other travelers who might be choosing this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews as I did, I feel I need to. I simply can't believe all the positive reviews here are legitimate. The best parts of my recent meal at Da Felice were 1) the glass of wine I ordered and 2) the fact that I found free street parking (not an easy feat in Chiavari). The bread was stale, the amuse bouche was greasy, my main course was ok, but a very small quantity of food for the price. I had to send one dish back because it was inedible. The service was good and attentive, but the food was a fail. As evidenced by the very sparsely populated dining room, I believe this place survives on tourists who come in once and learn their lesson.

We stayed in Lavagna for a long weekend and asked our receptionist about best pizza in town. She said it's in Chiavari, about 20 minutes walk, but it worth. She was definitely right. We had no reservation but got a table on the terrace for 1,5 hours. The staff barely speaks english, for me it was a sign that we are at the right place..:DIf you are lucky enough, you can sit on the other side of the street and watch the sunset over the mountains. We have tried the pesto pizza (of course) and the 4 formaggi. Both were fantastic especially with the vine we chose. For desert I tried the ananas (pineapple with a super delicious vanilla icecream).

Stumbled on this place through tripadvisor. It was superb, in a town we didn't think offered much this was a complete surprise. You don't chose from a menu, but you are served with loads of fabulous dishes, using mainly fish and local ingredients. Accompanied by bucket loads of lovely local frizzante wine! All for â¬35 per head, I have no idea how they do it. And then to top it, the owner took us back to our hotel in his people carrier. Not sure why anyone would stay in Chiavari, but I'd come back to eat here!!

A very cozy little restaurant just outside Chiavari's city centre, next to the junction of the motorway. The emphasis is on (very fresh) seafood but there are other options (the menu is rather extensive). The food is delicious: traditional yet with a twist, and the presentation of the dishes is in line with their quality. The service is professional yet friendly. The couple (chef and wife) who runs the restaurant is very nice and passionate. We only had a glass of wine and did not explore the wine list, but it looked complete. Excellent price/quality ratio in the range of 35-55 euro per person, depending on menu choice and wine. Warmly recommended.Dear Alessandro, thank you very much for your opinion about our Restaurant. We hope to see you soon again.Lo staff

Prezzo 45euro tutto compreso

A HISTORIC MANOR of the end of '800 facing the sea : location for exclusive EVENTS , new RESTAURANT
We were staying at the Grand Bristol hotel in Rapallo end of September 2016 and the weather was excellent so walking about we passed the Villa twice a day for 4 days before we worked out how to get to it as their signage was a bit lacking - but eventually went into the communal park and found the entrance gate! So glad we did. It is an oasis of calm away from the bustle and traffic of downtown Rapallo and simply stunning views from the terrace. Very romantic and nicely furnished.Had dinner and then came back for our last holiday lunch. Both times the service was attentive and the food excellent. Enjoyed the risotto with strawberries and the sea bass baked in salt - well cooked and not overdone as sadly it can be.Overall it is a cut above any other restaurant in Rapallo and we would thoroughly recommend seeking it out if you are staying in or near Rapallo.
