Twenty-two people from our community went to this restaurant for dinner. All I heard was how great the meals were. One said the steak was the best he's ever eaten. Another raved about the paella. Another about the fantastic grouper. I had tile fish, which I had never heard of before, and it was superb. Service was wonderful and quick and we weren't rushed out although there were people waiting to be seated.

A Neighborhood restaurant inspired by Farmers, Butchers and Mediterranean flavors. Serving fresh ingredients on our patio, bar and dining room. No Freezers, No Fryers, No Heat Lamps. A place to share flavors and laughter.
My first visit, repeat visit for the others. When I asked "what is good on the menu?" There was no response. The menu has some variety, especially the small plates, but there's nothing "remarkable" about the menu or the quality of the items we selected. The prices are good and service was excellent, but...The hummus, spicy feta, and tzatziki was a great start - good flavors, lot of veggies and pita. Then the main dishes arrived: Lamb Gyro (overcooked meat saved by smothering it in tzatziki sauce; Lamb Burger (OK); Super Grains Bowl with Salmon (overdone salmon); and NC Trout (oversalted). None of the dishes were "bad", but none stood out. The sangaria special was flavorful, but a carafe barely poured 4 glasses to the 2/3rds level. Had we ordered 4 glasses separately we'd have gotten more sangaria for the same price ($8/glass versus $32/carafe). Kid Cashew's competition along East Boulevard offer similar pricing, but, in a few cases, better quality food. They're just "unremarkable" as a restaurant, not Good nor Bad - just "OK."

I love to eat Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food when traveling, but I havenât had a lot of luck in the Charlotte area. That changed today when we visited Le Kebab at the recommendation of some friends. They have a large, authentic menu, what youâd expect to find and more. Many options, ranging from kebabs, shawarmas, hummus, and more are available. The prices are reasonable and the portions were huge! We ordered for two and could have fed four. Hummus and pita as an appetizer, and we both got chicken shawarma (my wife got the pita wrap, and I got the plate over a bed of rice pilaf). The service was excellent as well. I expect to be back at some point!
