We had a menu del dia as well as several tapas over two nights, all were excellent. The little hamburgers were my favourite. We tried other bars in the square but preferred the hotel

Wonderful game. Seasonal game dishes, such as wild boar in red wine and grilled venison fillets, are on the Parador menu to savour whilst admiring the beauty spots in the Nature Reserve.
We stayed at the hotel two nights and ate here both times. The waitress spoke no English so we didn't know what to expect but a waiter who spoke English helped with the wine selection. We received appetizers, aperitifs and a choice of bread rolls. We tried a variety of dishes -- pasta, venison, beef, salmon and an excellent platter of grilled vegetables. Everyone had ample portions and enjoyed their meal. The ambiance is elegant and the room has large windows facing the mountains. Some tables had brighter lighting than others. My husband went to the bar before dinner and the bartender poured him a variety of wines to try. The service was exceptional. We also had the breakfast buffet two mornings. They had a wide selection of items so there were plenty of choices.

We chose this at random from a number of bars and restaurants in the town and were not disappointed. It only had a couple of tables outside but there is lots of room inside. Very clean and really good service. Only ordered two drinks at first and two tapas appeared with them. Then ordered 2 toasted sandwiches and two more drinks and two more tapas came before the main order. Bill was 12.50⬠so well pleased and well fed. It is clear from Spanish reviews that this is a classy place in a lovely town and we have to agree.

Tapas Bar and Restaurant. Awesome sights of the Town from the inside and great terrace.
Came to Lusco Taberna looking for a quality vino tinto that wasn't served ice cold. We sat at the bar and ordered two glasses of the Lopez Cristobal. The wine had a unique floral quality and was very good. We weren't overly hungry so decided to split the mushroom risotto. While we enjoyed our wine we were brought small sardine tins of ceviche--shrimp, octopus, peppers, onion, citrus, and spices. Delicious and very fresh tasting. However, the risotto was pretty bland. It needed spice, herbs, and some lemon to counterbalance the creamy texture and richness of the rice and mushrooms. We would have been happy just eating the ceviche and drinking the wine.

We visited La Yedra on a cold Monday evening. We had a couple of drinks accompanied by tasty tapas. We then ordered a meal of mixed salad and lamb chops which was beautifully prepared and the lamb chops were to die for! Almost the best part of the visit was the wonderful atmosphere, the place was rammed on a Monday evening everyone having a great time and the food coming out to the other tables looked amazing. Highly Recommended.

We had a good conversation with the owner about olives and olive trees. He wound up giving my wife a small section of a tree as a souvenir. He also gave us free drinks and tapas. For our meal, we had an interesting egg and spinach dish.

The place, hidden in a small and narrow street, is absolutely charming. Walls covered with pictures of hunt parties and trophies place you immediately in the atmosphere of a rich and generous country meal. And we were not disappointed: the game dishes were very good and all dishes tasty, well prepared and copious. Adding on top a great attention for the service and smiling faces. Very good moment.
