I made reservations in advance of our trip. We were docked in Dubrovnik but I decided on a half day trip to Cavtat.Cavtat is gorgeous and not crowded like Dubrovnik. I had reservations for 1:30pm. On the morning of our day in Cavtat, I emailed the restaurant asking them to move the reservations to 2pm; however, I accidentally wrote 1pm. We arrived about 1:20pm, as our walk around the town didn't take as long as we expected. The waiters may have been slightly annoyed at first, but I explained my mistake. No worries I was told. They kept my table on the terrace, right at the water's edge. Loved it!!Excellent lunch of grilled squid and vegetables. Just an absolutely enjoyable afternoon with our friends.

Next door to Pizzeria Desetka which you have listed.I have just returned from Cavtat and would like to review this place.
We loved this place and ate there even though we were all inclusive. Make sure you are very hungry though as the meals are huge. They even remembered our drinks order from the previous day Excellent value for money

We booked a last minute 5 day break to Cavtat, and ended up eating twice at this restaurant mainly because of the lovely staff and great food. We had the mushroom soup on both occasions which was lovely. I had the salmon and hubby had the steak, all cooked perfectly.Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be definitely back to visit next year.

Came across this place on our second night. Been back five times now and going tonight for our last night. Food is excellent and very reasonable. Service from Eduardo and staff is friendly, welcoming, informative and first class. The ambiance is warm and homely. Steak, Tuna, Stuffed Squid, Pasta, Sea Bream, Calamari all exquisite but please do try the homemade strudel . Book in advance as it is a very busy restaurant.

Friends since 1998... In summer 1998, our first guest came to our terrace and a first smiley cappuccino was served... And a first tip was given. :) The bar was much smaller at the time, but the personnel was as friendly as today, so our guests, local as w
We visited here a couple of times for a drink before dinner. The place is comfortable and the view over the harbour is fabulous, especially around sunset, if some of the excessively ostentatious yachts don't block the view. It also has an ice cream stall, if that's what you fancy.

Lovely evening on the upper terrace of this traditional konoba, had delicious whole sea bass and steak, all beautifully cooked and presented. Service was lovely, the waiter so friendly and helpful, house wine was good. Seafood buzara slightly disappointing, would have liked more sauce and the mussels were small and a little overcooked for my taste- only reason it's not 5 stars. Thank you Kolona for a lovely evening!Thank you very much. Mussels are usually small at this time of year, there prime season is at spring. Waiters usually warn guests about that but I guess they missed that this time. We are very sorry about that. Hope we'll see you again

Experience carefully sourced highest quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Enjoy immaculately presented seasonal cocktails. Taste some of the best Croatian wines. Enjoy life!
We took a bus to Cavtat, using our Dubrovnik Card tickets, to escape the tourist hordes in Dubrovnik for a short while. We had the set three course lunch menu which offered excellent value for money and was on a par with many a one star Michelin restaurant. For less than â¬80 for two we had a taste of what this great restaurant has to offer. Ston oysters for me, followed by a salad of figs with goats cheese mousse and then the local fish of the day - dentex - served with greens, cauliflower cream and clams. My husband had cured dentex, Adriatic prawn risotto and, finally lamb shank. Great presentation (see photos) in a beautiful setting (see more photos). Well worth a visit. In fact it would be worth visiting Cavtat just to have lunch here.

Lovely restaurant with the most beautiful terrace on a great location. We serve all types of food and drinks. Come and see!
We arrived in Cavtat and decided to have an early dinner. We decided to get the special of the day and we were extremely pleased with our choice. The food was very good, we both had fish and lovely local white wine. The meal and service were both very good and the meal was very reasonably priced.

We dined at this restaurant with a large group of friends. We had all 4 salads on the menu, squid stew, seafood risotto and seared tuna. All were delicious and this surprised us given the number of restaurants serving average food in the old town. Itâs not cheap but the service and quality of food was worth it!
