Thanks to other trip advisor reviews we made our way to dinner at this great seafood restaurant. The staff was super and the offerings of fresh fish was extensive and included some special gems only found in Spain. We were here in September so it was not busy ( I imagine it's packed during high season so I would make reservations). Everything was delicious, I had the monkfish and my friend had the salmon, sushi style. Prices are fair for the great quality they delivered. I think we paid about 80 for two courses for 2 and wine. We would go back in a heartbeat! Chapeau ....

We had planned to dine at another restaurant but it was closed so we decided to call into Les Cols. What a great find. The outside appearance does not do justice to the quality of the food and service inside. My wife had tuna and I had a lovely steak. The chef came to ask if we were happy with everything and was genuinely pleased with our compliments. For my wife the highlight was a delicious hot chocolate dessert.Really great place and highly recommended.

The Informal is a bar with no pretensions that deserves a good opinion. Why? Lets see...First: Despite is located in the edge of the main street of Empuriabrava, this bar offers a great terrace where, specially by night, is a nice place to chill, dinner...If you prefer to stay inside, it is fine.More, the food is correct and very affordable. Jamón serrano, pan con tomate, tasty cheeses, squid etc and also sandwiches. The staff is correct and in the rush hour they do their best...I think that is well balanced meal and price.

We enjoyed an evening meal here, including a mixed tapas appetizer, salmon & croquettes for the children, and paella for 2. The food was plentiful and good value, the house cava is very nice, and the staff were very welcoming. The terrace is on a square where we were fortunate to see a youthful group practicing and creating a short Castell.

After a hot morning exploring this lovely medieval town, the elegant cool interior of Les Voltes was most welcome. We were greeted with a smile, and chose to eat Botiferra..The local sausage, served with an outstanding butterbean and vegetable accompaniment. This was good food, typical of the region, prepared and served with flair. A complementary shot of local Muscat came with our excellence coffees, and we were charmed and delighted by our visit to this characterize place. Bravo!!

A gourmet restaurant, fresh and delicious food. Very nice serving! The portions are exactly in a good size. And all for a price beyond fair! (Except the vegan dish (salad and Sweet potato puree) that was charged above what is expected. The place is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant. Not really suitable for young children, there are no special dishes for them. Even though our 8 Years son loved the main course ! There is no baby chair. There is parking:)Thankyou very much for your comment. We pass it on to the team to always listen to our customers.

We were travelling from France to Roses, but stopped for lunch just after 14h30 at Cal Patufet, where we took the 3 course 8.50 Euro menu inc. wine, water, and an amuse buche of diy garlic bread. Mmmmm An absolute bargain, in a buzzy restaurant with spacious tables and happy waitresses, and all for 19.20 Euros including coffees.

This is a terrific restaurant that offers very good value for what you get. My hiking companion stayed a night at Casa Clara Hostal during a week-long hike in the area, and ate an evening meal is their downstairs restaurant. The restaurant is owned by friendly hosts Anna and Margarita (who plans the excellent menu and does some of the cooking). The food at this restaurant is delicious and comes at a very reasonable price, explaining why so many people choose it as a place to eat. The starter + the main course + dessert + a complimentary glass of wine, costs only 17.5 Euro; an amazingly great value. My companion and I both had the leek and puff pastry starter, which was the most delicious leek dish I've every tasted (and I like leeks and have tasted quite a few leek dishes in my time). The main courses listed on the menu included vegetarian options, which was appreciated by my companion. The restaurant has a very attractive decor, with nice art work on the walls, and one can dine in or on the patio.

We booked on-line for the â¬19 menu which due to an annual festival started with barbecued leeks with a wonderful dip! The meal seemed to go on forever, one delicious plate after another . We found out during the course of the meal that the bottle of winewas also included and it was excellent!

I tend to go to Aroma mainly for breakast, as it's the only place where my wife can have a decent cappucino with soya milk (soya apparently is still a rarity in this part of the world!) and also some very good croissants and boccadillos. On occasion, we've also had the buffet for lunch, and if you are after some unpretencious food, with good variety and taste at an incredible value, than you will be satisfied here. As a smoker, I love the fact that they have a terrace where I can sip my coffee or have an aperitif outside and watch the world go by. It's very central but on a street away from the main hustle a bustle, if you come here you feel more like a local and less like a tourist.
