As part of a conference, we had a dinner here. The bus winded up narrow roads, through villages, to bring us to this place. Took your breath away. We were greater by champagne and hors d'oeuvres. A huge tent set up on an expansive lawn that looked down to Lake Lugano 800 meters below. Stunning scenery. Good food. Excellent wines. This is probably the best option for italian food in the whole region. Fish and seafood always fresh and tasty! Pizza is delicious and wood-fired. If you like pasta, try the pignata which is a terracotta pot with spaghetti and seafood in cherry tomatoes, garlic and herbs, covered with pizza bread and baked in the oven. Once served, the bread is cut open. They manage to prepare this even well 'al dente'! The salads are abundant and varied. Service is very friendly and prompt! Even the view over Lake Lugano is perfect - if you get a window table. In the summertime you can sit on the terrace on top of the building. Make sure you book your table under +39 0332/550311. Highly recommended!

This small restaurant, with just 1 waitress and delicious food, is definitely worth a stop on your visit to Lugano/Paradiso. We enjoyed a delicious and very reasonably priced meal here. This is a cosy restaurant with the feel of a country inn, there are a few tables in each room, so do call ahead for a reservation. We had the grilled lambchops and there were mouth wateringly delicious!!!!

Decent place for a dinner with very friendly service, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there again. We had Antipasti Morchino, grilled rabbit and luganighetta sausage. Cheese and most of the cold cuts were very good and I also enjoyed their sausage. I wasn't impressed with the rabbit though. The meat wasn't as juicy and flavorful as I expected. Also, I doubt that our dishes were done on actual grill. At least, I didn't see it outside, but it may be different during warmer time of a year. This place really wowed me... It just has been reopened wth bigger facilities, new menu and more rooms in the hotel. I recently spent a week over the New Year. Staying in the villa next to this restaurant. Although we had a number of different places during our stay this was by far the most superior. Had the pleasure of spending New Year's Eve and was made so welcome by the staff.
