Family Restaurant. Spanish and Mediterranean traditional cooking Tapas & Portions to share or not! Open for lunch and dinner Great selection of wines!
This was our first experience of Spanish food in GaucÃn and we were thrilled to find this beautiful restaurant on our door step. The owner was so welcoming, we felt at ease and relaxed immediately. The restaurant is perched above a pretty town square and is decorated in a charming style. The very helpful owner helped us choose a combination of sharing dishes for our family to try. When they were served to us we were overwhelmed by the exquisite presentation and the taste was absolutely beautiful. Everything was so fresh and delicious...the salads and fruits were bursting with Spanish sunshine! The puddings - a brownie with caramel ice cream and fried milk (gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!) - completed our perfect meal.If you visit GaucÃn you must try Azulete...it really is stunning! Thank you very much for your nice review!Pleasure to serve you and very happy that you enjoy our food, service and atmosphere.Thank you for coming!Best RegardsAzulete Team

Charming restaurant in the historic "pueblo blanco" of Gaucin. The weekly changing menu has an Andalucian touch and offers local and seasonal produce.
We have visited Platero and Co several times, Each visit a delight. The setting, the food, and the service are all fantastic. You will really enjoy it all.Oh , and the Almond Vodka given at the end of the meal, a simple delight !

We recently visited this restaurant as the reviews suggested it was suitable.I was somewhat disappointed as I felt it's not really family friendly, I suppose the fact that there's no kid's menu might have warned us. The view, I must admit is good, but the service was poor and the food was only average. Dry, over cooked calamari is not what I expected, will not be returning.

We are on vacation from 03-17 December and reopen the 18th.
Visited with friends whom are regular visitors, located right on the roadside going up into the hills we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We had drinks outside whilst ordering and then moved inside to sit in the back room with fantastic views out of the huge windows. The food was lovely on the whole. Disappointingly several dishes were unavailable, many of them the desserts.....apparently the chocolate fondant is amazing but was unavailable due to the specialise being broken (or something along those lines)The starters and mains were great but the remaining dessert choices not so much. The creme brulee was very bland and the brownie dry.......however this would not put me off visiting again. Also, afterwards it's worth the few minute drive up the hill to the town of Casares to see the nightime views.

Conveniently located on a beautiful mountain road on the way to Casares, the restaurant offers intimate rooms with magnificent views. Excellent, varied menu with venison and game offers unique opportunity to taste foods one does not enjoy every day. Wonderful experience for the taste buds..

The concept Sarmiento âbrasa andaluzaâ is based on the essential pillars of the andalusian lifestyle: authenticity, spontaneity and enjoyment of family and friend´s company when being around a table. Our clients would be able to feel the happiness and hos
Friendly with excellent, modern Andalusia food and a dining room/terrace with great far-reaching views. In an elevated position on the main road running past the top of the village. Public parking nearby. Stylish interior, staff very helpful and spoke English. Food is a modern take on Andalusia cooking, beautifully presented. A mix of small plates and more main dishes plus pudding. My veggie partner found his options a bit limited, not unusual for Andalucia, but he said it was very good. I hope to visit again!

We went on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed.Arroyo Hondo is in a fantastic location up in the beautiful hills above the coast. Staff extremely helpful pleasant knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. The menu choice was superbly balanced and the food was perfectly executed. The local manzanilla olives with marinated in chili and garlic were amongst the best Iâve had anywhere. So impressed I purchased a jar from the restaurant to take home.We would gladly pass on the recommendation.

Very nice terrace, this restaurant has an interesting menu of oriental dishes, tajines, couscous, also wild boar. You would definitely go for the friendliness of the English spoken service. Good house wine at 13⬠the bottle. It is difficult to access to get there
