we had a nice late family lunch there. the service is very nice, friendly and highly efficient. our starter salad was huge. be prepared to do your own dressing with oil and vinegar. then i had a big tartar, again to be prepared by myself, but with all needed ingredients in top quality. my wifeâs pasta was excellent as well. itâs a pretty busy place.

We walked around looking for this restaurant. It is a small little restaurant that stands up to its reviews. The owner is very nice, humble and appreciative of business. We had the gyros and they were fantastic. Don't walk by it, the food is great and maybe some of the best Mediterranean food we've ever had.

The hotel & restaurant ANTICA STALLERA, is located in the city center of Cannobio, just a few steps from the lake promonade. The restaurant is featured by an interior and quiet garden, the right place to enjoy your perfect dinner. Restaurant Antica Stalle
We visited Cannobio with two other couples who frequently vacation here and now we know why this is their favorite restaurant. We had dinner here twice. Everything we had was first-rate. The chateaubriand and pasta dishes were particularly memorable. The staff is particularly accommodating, going so far as to make up a special dessert for one member of our group on his birthday. Highly recommended.Thank you for your comment! We are looking forward to welcoming you soon again!

This is the bar that is full of people, most times of day. The pizza is delicious and the service is good. We come here every time we visit Cannobio.

We have had dinner in this restaurant twice during the last three evenings. Both dinners have been very good. The food was excellent, we had both pasta and main courses. We enjoy it very much. Also the service was very good and friendly. The restaurant can absolutely be recommended.

In a small picturesque village in front of the Laggo Maggiore we spent a delightful lunch at Lo Scalo. The dishes ordered were tasteful and delicately presented and prepared by a highly talented young chef William Sonn. This is definitely worth a stop over. The service was excellent and highly attentive. A wonderful discovery - spread the word !

A few steps from the lake promenade (behind the City Council) you will find family-run business restaurant with a typical cuisine of our parts, seasonal, with simple, genuine, but very tasty dishes. The specialty of the restaurant is the lake fish and the
We can only recommend this place for an excellent dinner. The outside location is pretty small but exactly that adds a lot to the very personal touch and atmosphere. The chef is a really nice guy. Personal greetings and always asking if you are happy. And believe you are! The tortillini which are of handmade doughe from the mama is just perfect! Hi there, enjoy yourself, but make a reservation. As said it's an exclusive opportunity you can't afford to miss!

Typical restaurant with a cuisine revisited with the use of simple but high-quality products We always recommend booking The restaurant will be closed from november to march
I really loved this restaurant. Everything about it was a delight.Reserved table for dinner during and arrived during a spectacular thunder storm. Very warm welcome and shown to a table. The number of covers is not excessive for the space and the acoustics made for a gently hum rather than a din.The menu was varied, there were some small amuse-bouche.The food was great. But more than anything it was the combination of ambience, food, and quality of service throughout the meal that i appreciated. Some places lose interest after serving their main courses and either want to rush you off or forget about you. Here the service remained attentive but never intrusive. i felt that the staff engaged me as a person rather than just another tourist to feed.Portions are sensible sized so you can eat from across the menu without feeling either stupidly over stuffed or that you need a snack later. The wine list has something for all pockets. At the end of a very good meal the bill was not heart-stopping and less than some worse meals in more touristic places. There is a lovely riverside walk back to Cannobio so you can walk off your dinner if you want. After two weeks in Italy this was the best meal by a long margin.

... A small corner of paradise ... How nice to be lulled by the sweet notes of the selected music while enjoying a glass of wine that accompanies dishes of tradition and innovation in which Alex and Max compete by offering their passion in the pot . The s
We had dinner with three whole families. The owner greeted us and loved to talk about the food. It was a fantastic experience. We took his advise on the primi and segundi and we were not disappointed. The tastes were great. The location is in a historic village, which begs for a stroll before or after dinner. Finished with a delicious dessert. Unfortunately we missed the primary platter of the restaurant which is chocolate salami because they had run out. So we will have to come back one day. Bring enough cash because the dinner was pricey. But sooo worth it!
