Tortelli, sadly, is just an average italian restaurant. Food, service, sleds, desserts, drinks, were neither too bad, but definitely not very good. It is rather a shame because the restaurant is in a very charming local facing one of the prettiest and most charming squares in Cali.

Went there because of the reviews here on TA. The place is very small but nice and comfy, the food was not bad but nothing special to be honest, it was well below our expectations. I ordered a pasta Marakesh, which tried to taste exotic but tasted more like when I make a pasta at home using up all the food- and spice-left overs I find on my kitchen. A huge mix-up of flavours without any differenciated character. And my friend's fish filet (salmon, if I remember well) was excellent in price, but average in taste. Loved this place. I first stopped in one afternoon just to have a couple glasses of wine at their very inviting looking sidewalk tables in the shade of some trees.I was impressed by the friendly service and inventive and witty menu, so stopped in another day with my girlfriend for dinner. Excellent food and great service. I had "Historia de una noche", a very tasty roast beef dish in a mushroom sauce, and my girlfriend had "Romeo y Julieta", a twist on a vegetarian lasagne. She loved it. Beautiful decor and just a very classy but unpretentious place. Highly recommend.We appreciate deeply your kind review. It seem you capture perfectly what we have been striving for in the 20 years we´ve been opened; to have fantastic food in an unpretentious environment. This particular style reflects the attitude of my mother, who started the restaurant and also mine, who now runs it. We welcome you to keep on visiting us and to bring your friends along.

Their sandwich and pasta dish are great even it is a small place and some people comply about not having where to seat. There are just 2 tables and most of the time you have to stanby like been on a european market. Food is great and they sell food to go as well. The parmesan cheese is made by a swiiss expatriate who works with local indians in the south part of Colombia. Same with some cold cuts. Priddes here are on the cheap side. We paid $32.000 equivalent to $US12 for our great lunch

We experienced this restaurant with friends and enjoyed it immensely. The space is amazing, with singing frogs and luscious green plants everywhere. It felt like we were in a garden. Definitely try the carpaccio, any fish and the cazuela. Decent wines by the bottle.

I had the "mixed vegetariano" which was probably one of the best vegetarian meals I have ever had!! Delicious balance of flavours! So healthy, and a very good size meal. This place is not cheap by Colombian standards, and the wine is definitely well over priced (I opted for beer). But again, my food was amazing, could not fault it!

This is my third visit to Trattoria over the past 5 years and I am still impressed. Their pasta is well done and fresh. The service with the Cali friendliness is attentive without being intrusive. The cheese in the buratta was unbelievably fresh, Both pasta dishes were wonderful and the prawns fresh and correctly cooked allowing for the texture to be at the right balance between raw and chewy. The owner made the dessert which was off the menu, absolutely fabulous. The atmosphere and decore only enhances the wonderful dining experience. If you love Italian food you must try Trattoria.It is really a great pleasure to receive such beautiful opinions; every day we work to improve and give the best experience with the best food thanks

I very much enjoyed this place the first time I went and even more this time. A light touch with the service and ambiance. Decent jazz (no garbage lounge covers of pop songs, ugh!). The patatas bravas are done right and have a tasty, spicy sauce. We had a cajun prawn dish that was AWESOME, big prawns with a spicy sauce, tomatoes and basil rice that fit together beautifully. We also had a bass with lemon risotto that was delightful and a very robust steak dish with caramelized onion and radish purees. We were way too full for dessert. I highly recommend this place, which seems to be burying its competitors for fine dining in the area.
