For 30⬠I've got a perfectly good room with a private bathroom & secure off street parking for my motorbike. This is obviously one of the most popular restaurants in the area, and I understand why, the menu is full of locally sourced products, well cooked and presented. The outside terrace and gardens are lovely, with a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained and a special terrace for those super romantics endings. Definitely recomended.

What a beautiful hotel Balneari Prats is, we found it as we parked our car nearby in Caldes de Malavella and decided to have lunch, we sat outside in the glorious sunshine and had a very simple but very tasty lunch. We liked this place so much we came back for drinks later in the week, its just a fabulous little spot.

It's always a good sign when you pull into a restaurant car park and there are lots of cars there. Especially when it's situated in the middle of nowhere. We would never have known about it, had it not been for Trip Advisor, but we seemed to be the only people who found out about it that way. Everyone else seemed local, including a big table of about 20 Mossos d'Esquadra (the local police force) in full uniform. I always take this as a good sign of how good a place is.It's mostly Argentinian food, with a few local adjustments. A Choripan, which is supposed to be Argentinian Chorizo inside bread, had a Butifarra sausage instead, but was none the worse for that. Like most proper Argentinian restaurants, it had dishes like Pasta on the menu, but no Milanesa (escalopes) or Matambre (a rolled pork dish). The empanadas were delicious, and the croquettes the best we've tasted in a long time. But the high spot of the meal was the meat. Tira de Asado, Vacio and Entrana were on offer, the latter a huge piece of tender Skirt steak cooked to perfection. Now the amazing thing about this place is the price. All the above, plus dessert, many of which were home-made, were all part of a Menu del Dia at â¬18 (December 2014). There were a few extra charges (there were five flavours of ice creams included, but Dulce de Leche Ice Cream, which is compulsory in any visit to an Argentinian restaurant, was â¬2 extra. The Menu included a starter, main course and dessert, wine and coffee and represents extraordinary value for money when you consider the quality of the cooking.
"La Gata" is one of those places that you always feel like returning to. The owners are welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about their offering. You can tell they've put a lot of time an effort in their drink and tapas pairings. Gourmet quality and experience without the premium price tag. Highly recommended. They're also pet-friendly!

The daily menu starts suprisingly good but it decreases its originality arriving at desserts. In general, the quality of the dishes is high and it's well presented. Service is correct and at time.

I ate a set menu of 3 courses here and was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, traditional dishes, executed well. A good mix of options between veggies, meat and fish. Portions very generous, it'll fill you up! My favourite dish was the grilled vegetables which was simply excellent, bursting with flavour, cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The menu came with a whole bottle of wine :) I tried, but alas, couldn't finish it all. I leave that challenge up to you, but it's always better to have too much than too little. The price was very affordable and the service was friendly and attentive.I left full, content and smacking my lips as I stumbled slightly tipsy back to the hotel.Highly recommend!!!

Five of us had lunch here on Jan 1st. Three of us ordered the menu del dia for 25 euros each. For starters, we ordered the bacalao & cheese & potato gratin (good but not great) and cream of seafood soup (good but not great). For entrees, we ordered the paella marisco (good but not great). We also ordered the sirloin steak with potatoes (pretty good) and cannelloni (average). For dessert, we ordered the chocolate brownies (served warm) with ice cream (pretty good). With wine, the bill came to 125 euros for 4 adults and 1 child. Service was pleasant but a little slow.

WE DO TRADITIONAL CATALAN CUISINE. We are a restaurant that aims to share traditions at the table. The only fireworks you will see will be when you taste our home-madre croquettes and the only explosions found here will be those linked to the memories of
Very large restaurant - Michellin star but despite its size is still available to offer good service. Classic menu with a few interesting touches
