Just enjoyed a marvellous dinner at Le Monde à Sa Porte. Loved the Pizza Couronne. Very original, very fresh, with nice plain side salad. The white wine was good. The waitress (we think the owners's daughter) is extremely friendly and explained every single word we didn't understand. We would definitely return here. As mentioned before in previous reviews: great quality for a fair price.

We stayed in Gordes two nights and ate here on both occasions. We always have the heritage tomatoes with burrata to start. So simple, freshest ingredients, simply stunning. The pasta bolognese is a triumph, the gnocchi Gorgonzola, very rich, with a punchy blue cheese taste. Equally good is the veal Milanese. Difficult to have a bad meal!Dear Fleetoffoot, Thank you for taking the time to share with us your impressions about your recent experience at la Bastide de Pierres. We are really glad that you enjoyed your two dinners in our talian restaurant. It is a real pleasure to read positive feedback about our good food quality. We will share your comment with our team.Thank you again, and see you soon and La Bastide de Pierres.Best regards,Pascal Vincent

We found this little gem by accident roaming the quiet alleys of Gordes. Unlike the more expensive Gordes restaurants with views this little 10 table oasis (inside and out) offers perfectly portioned mains with a dessert for under 20â¬. We had 4 of the 6 choices: I had the Burrata and the teens had the Penne Pesto and my wife had the Thai chicken and noodles. All were delicious and full of fresh locally sourced produce. The Foie Gras Burger looked literally to die for. The chocolate volcano cake and panna cotta were delicious.

The warm and bright atmosphere, the friendly service and terrific food combine to make this restaurant a special place. Tangine and couscous dishes were delicious and we enjoyed the Moroccan rose. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back!

Le restaurant ne se trouve pas dans le village de Gordes mais au hameau des Imberts, D2, entre Gordes et Coustellet. Parking privé devant le restaurant. Grande salle avec cheminée et baies vitrées, terrasse très ombragée
We stopped for lunch on the way back to Avignon from Gordes. The service was pleasant, and the food delicious. A nice experience, eating outside under a lovely bamboo sunscreen

Iâm afraid, having known Michaelâs real Old Bistro, his now distant departure is still rued and this pallid version likewise. Expensive lunch served by an inexperienced waiter who did not have the panache to simply say: look, Iâm new here and learning the ropes - if this were the case. Or maybe he had been inadequately trained. He couldnât take a steak order - carefully explained by my friend with excellent French and knowledge of how to describe this to a French waiter. Our starters arrived and were beautiful and interesting (with tomato ice cream) but not highly flavoured. The waiter came 3 times to see if we were finished and on the third, when I was still eating, presented our mains. Weâd been working very hard and had come for a leisurely lunch! And the steak was all but raw and had to be sent back once we could find the waiter who was smoking in the interior. So then my friend and I were out of step. There were other things now forgotten. For the price (no lunch menu or prices) or indeed at any price this was shabby.

It was a hot July afternoon and had an early dinner. The staff were super friendly and had great communication without speaking English. The local wines were great. We had a quick bite in mind and ended up staying there for hours. Highly recommended

Great restaurant, everything is made fresh. We had the foie gras and the salmon with leeks for appetizer, and amazing sea scallops cooked to perfection.
