We ate here quite a few times when we were in Broto. The food, while not gourmet, is certainly decent, well presented and good value. Portions are a good size and we never left feeling unsatisfied. The waiters seem a bit fed up but why wouldn't they, I suppose? Probably the best place we ate while in Broto - don't waste your time queuing up at the pizza place just up the road, it's nothing special.

We visited this place twice: once for dinner and once for drinks after hiking. The burgers were not anything special, however they had a good variety for drinks. Also, free wifi was definitely a plus. Staff was friendly both times. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. 3 stars for food, 4 for service and drinks. Busy for a Saturday night so that says something!

Had lunch here on Thursday 28th June. If you are staying in Torla or just passing through, then this is the place to eat. Excellent service, excellent food and great ambience. If lunch time then sit in the garden. Thanks David G, it's nice to read opinions from travelers accustomed to traveling. Your views help us.Bye!!

Tipical Spanish, little-town bar. Lots of ambiance, excellent tapas, restaurant @ second floor with excellent food (three-course meal), very good prices. very good privce
Family run and very pleasant they are too. Good buzz in the place and good priced set menu. Food basic fare and wines also ok. Good selection of salads to start and chicken broth fine but not as hearty as expected. Not many vegetables in sight on the various meat dishes.Authentic and charming

We were wandering in Broto, looking for menus that had some vegetarian options. Towards the end we found one. We sat down outside to enjoy the weather. A patronâs dog started to like us and stayed with us the whole time. I guess he liked us.The owner was on task and he helped us with the menu. Then he had a better idea, he sent us his waitress who knew French, as she was in French Immersion in Madrid. She too was very friendly. They were out of Gazpacho, but she recommended Salmorejo, which was also made with tomatoes and it was also a cold soup. It was heavenly! I ordered after that grilled vegetables while my wife ordered a huge salad with lots of vegetables. We shared our plates with one another and we decided that this place was a gourmet restaurant. Delicious!Desserts were good too, I took a flan. I loves these flans! While we were eating, we saw a bunch of little birds having fun, flying through the bell tower. This was so romantic!

Don't miss this gem if you're visiting Torla. The artichoke "pudding" (more like a flan) with jambon and roasted red pepper sauce was heavenly. My steak was thin sliced, but seared perfectly outside and rare inside, tender as could be. My wife had grilled pork tenderloins in a tarragon cream sauce that was also delicious. The tarijillo dessert put it all over the top. Lovely service in a charming dining room. Did I mention the menu is only 23 euros and the restaurant has a Michelin star?

We happened upon Sarvise in the early afternoon past the "formal" lunch dining hours and were so lucky to notice this great restaurant. We want to take time to compliment the owner and his wife/mother team of chefs who served us an outstanding meal. There were four of us in the group and everyone tried a different appetizer, entree, and dessert and each of us were delighted. The restaurant is filled with character and charm but the best parts were the attentive service by the owner and the delicious one-of-a-kind dishes we relished. We were often "bored" with the menu offerings while we toured Spain because so many restaurants offered exactly the same options prepared in almost identical ways, but Casa Frauca offered unique choices prepared and presented excellently! If you are in the general area, it is worth a trip there, plus this is a small hotel so you can even stay if you have the time!

we stayed at the hotel for 4 nights - an excellent place to start with. Then in the evening we decided to try out the restaurant. We normally do not have our meals where we stay as we like to try other places in the area. But "El Mirador" was a clear exception and a winner . We ended up having all our meals at this place. For starter, the breakfast is excellent and of good quality. You can prepare your own coffee and have a reasonable variety of breakfast items to choose from. But the big price and surprise was the dinner menu. Many dishes to choose from. A combination of gourmet cooking and local dishes. Antonio, the chef, does a great job. Dishes very well presented and of excellent quality. We enjoyed each and every one of them. Our congratulations to Antonio, a very pleasant man.. The service also excellent and the dinning room very correct with great view of the valley below. A place not to be missed.Congratulations

We were visiting Broto a bit later in the year and some of the restaurants were already closed for the season. We went to the casa Joaquin and were not disappointed. The menus were really great with a good wine. The decorations inside are also very nice and ... really great service.

When we entered the restaurant it was half full and picked a free table. Nobody noticed us even when waving our hands. Other guests came in and have been serviced. We decided to leave. When going out we noticed that we obviously didn't follow the rule to get seated. However, there was no sign or waiter informing about this. We understood that the personnel wanted to educate or punish us for our "wrong" behavior. Very unprofessional! Fortunately there were other restaurants accepting our money and willing to serve us.
