Reviews on Mediterranean food in Bremen, State of Bremen, Germany. The second most populous town in North Germany, Bremen brings the high-tech, science and space industries together beneath a truly metropolitan backdrop. In a city where innovation, beauty and sophistication meet, it's impossible not to feel the life force. In this 1,200-year-old Hanseatic city, visit the Schlachte Promenade on the River Weser, the full-sized Columbus Space Module of the International Space Station and the Universum Science Center. Oh, and "Hanseatic" refers to an alliance of trading cities in the 13th-17th centuries. But you probably knew that.

We had a little bit of everything from the tapas menu for a large group of colleagues. The tapas was delicious and would definitely go back. The staff were very accommodating and friendly!

Family run business since many years, Il pappagallo offers a wide variety of tasteful italian specialties with no compromise to please local taste. Wine choice is large and affordable, service is very kind and experienced. In case of nice weather, a beautiful garden completes the large and clear dining room

Hard to understand how people find this place. We asked taxi-driver, whose vehicle was decorated with commercials of this place and still he struggeled to understand where we were going and find it.The place was elegant, calm and professional. People were obviously enjoying in there. Our portions were so huge, we barely could eat half of them. Food was delicious but one has limits.

Modern italian design Restaurant. Fresh seafood, meat and vegitarian dishes at its best. Come in and enjoy the art of italian kitchen.
Things started really well here and our food was excellent and our waiter was delightful however half way through the meal something happened. We saw the waiting staff looking really stressed and from then on we had no service. We wanted desert but after waiting 20 mins after our plates had been cleared away we had to ask for the cheque. I hailed the waiter twice, had eyes rolled. I was honestly ready to just leave.I really hate having to wait for desert or to get the bill, it is so tedious. What a shame when a good restaurant falls down on this...and loses revenue through no desert order.

we were looking for a place to have spanish food in Bremen and no idea where to go, got some recomendations but looked up DC and were positively impressed. We went, during the week, no reservation, with 7 people. The place was packed, staff still managed to get us a table (pushed 2 together). The food was excellent, we shared hot tapas and main courses! The wine was not as we expected, but this is personal choice, the service could have been a bit more attentive, but this could have been due to they were so busy. Prices were not cheap, but good price-value. A place we certainly will go again!

A colleague chose this restaurant for a team dinner last night - 11 people - and the food was absolutely outstanding. We had shared starters - including lovely scallops, lots of roasted vegetables, bruschetta etc- and then chose our mains. I opted for monkfish and it was beautiful. Many had the pasta and it looked - and smelled - beautiful. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. It wasn't cheap - though I have to say I didn't see the bill - but it was excellent quality and the waiting team were outstanding.

I do not understand why a restaurant has to show something that it is not.A mix of kitchen is that. Never again Dear Selvius, our slogan is steaks, burger & bar. Thats what we are. Nothing else. Kind regards Marie

El Mundo is a big place which is very popular; best to reserve well in advance. Many groups, lively atmosphere, open kitchen. Menu is varied - everything from pizza and pasta and salads to steaks and fish and homemade ice cream - and the prices are reasonable. Small selection of wines, but several options by the glass. Service is rather friendly and mostly efficient. This is not the kind of romantic place you'd like to spend with your loved one, it's more targeted to groups of friends who are looking for a great time out. In summer, there is a nice terrace right at the water as well. Opens at 1600 already, for those who wish to dine early. Recommended.

Decided to have Greek dinner in Bremen. Some of the staff do not speak English but tried their best to help us. Food is just okay and quite salty. Price is considerable but already cheaper than restaurants in the old town. Not excellent but still preferable.

The food was really well prepared and tasty. Portions are really big and we got ouzo shots for free. The owner was really polite and friendly. The prices are normal. Excellent choice for traditional greek food.
