Sunday night in Oberaudorf not much is open. Filled with skepticism and with a dearth of options, we chose to get a takeway pizza and were very pleasantly surprised. Tasty pizza, and would recommend the tuna salad to share.

Good food at reasonable price and good wine. Service was very good, would definitely return. The children enjoyed the pizzas and the adults enjoyed the ambience and good company. The restaurant was busy on the nigh we visited of 29 December, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

Short story first: The weather was bad. reaning, cold, and ugly. We were hungry, a little tired and it was near to 20:00.So we walked from our Bed and Breakfast to the center of Bad Feilnbach, searching for something to eat.We passed one Pizzeria, that didnât look inviting, not many people inside, so more walking. We came to another Pizzeria, a little hidden, in a new house, so the place looked new, but nearly nobody inside, so we decided âmaybe Pizza is not our choise todayâ. We walked on to the main street of Bad Feilnbach and found another pizzeria La Piazzetta! It was full with guests and the fire from the Pizza oven called us in.We have been greeted warmly and got what seems to be, the last table available. The menu was very inviting and the price range nice.We had Pizza LaPiazetta (tomatoes, cheese, smoked salmon, rocket and parmesan) 9⬠and Pizza alla Contadina (tomatoes, cheese, egg, mild chilli, olives, fresh champignons and artichokes) 9â¬.We were really surprised when the pizzas finally arrived at our table.Iâve never seen such a large Pizza before! And the taste war perfect!Whenever we are in the area, we will visit La Piazzetta again!

We had booked a night at the San Gabriel Hotel, which is an experience in itself, again work a detour, and the restaurant is part of the building. The premises are just unique, food served by waiters dressed like monks. The restaurant has so many different nooks and crannies: apparently a converted convent or monastery, but it has been so well done.Asparagus season, and the taste was sublime with hollandaise sauce and olive oil. Main courses, prawns, meat, pasta were packed full of flavour.Cost was very reasonable. Good wine selection.A must do experience.

If you are going on a trip to either Innsbruck or Salzburg, the Poseidon is a perfect place close to the junction of the two autobahns. Excellent food at low prices, and good service to boot. You'll get an ouzo before your meal and another one, with a small piece of cake, afterwards.Tried their oven-baked lamb as well as grilled lamb fillet in garlic sauce (the "Naxos platter"). Both were excellent. I've been here a few times, and liver, lamb chops, kebabs were all very good. They also have a smallish dessert menu; the galaktobouriko is the only thing I tried, and it was very very good, but you get a free piece of cake anyway. Also, a decent selection of Greek wines at reasonable prices. Try the Naoussa if you are looking for a red, and watch out for the Imiglykos (semi-sweet), unless you like sweet wines.
