Traditional English and Greek food. Breakfast, lunch, Thursday Friday and Saturday nights from 18:00 till 22:00 traditional Greek food (mezedes)
This was out first visit and we can't wait to go back with our family. We chose the mezze (after reading reviews) and it certainly didnt disappoint. Freshly cooked and delicious in taste. Excellent value for money with a cozy greek feel to the surroundings

Italian Family Run Restaurant Since 1983.
Used this Italian restaurant for many years when I worked in Eastleigh but have not been back for a while since I retired. I was not disappointed as the meal was excellent. Paolina, the owner, recognised me and greeted me warmly. We started with Carta de Musica and olives, a favourite appetiser in times gone by. My main was baked chicken breast with spinach and mushrooms in a white wine sauce and a side of sauted potatoes. My wife had penne with smoked salmon. Both dishes were excellent and washed down with Pinit Grigio and a delightful Sardinian red wine, Cannanau. A delightful evening.

It is turkish restarant and wine bar
Came here with a friend on a Monday evening at 6pm (when it opened) and it was deserted - the chef hadn't even arrived! However the waiter who was setting up still got us seated and brought us drinks and explained the chef would be there soon.Although not everything we ordered was available what did arrive was freshly prepared and fairly tasty. Not the most mind blowing meze I've had but it was a good balanced selection and very generous portions for the price.Only critique was that the food was quite greasy and an overall greasy smell all over the restaurant but I'd definitely come back!

We are an informal little Greek Taverna in the heart of Portswood. Selling Traditional Greek Food including the ever popular Pita Gyros, Souvlaki, Homemade 200g Bifteki Burgers, Homemade Moussaka, Greek Salads and Meze. We serve Mythos and Wine. We pride
Although I have been here before a year or two ago I decided to come back with my father in law for a meal and once again it was great food, very filling and with a fast service. The prices are not too expensive and when you get your meal there is no disappointment. I would highly recommend coming here as £10 will get you enough food and drink to feel stuffed!

Our philosophy echoes that of the Italian Bacari - that the simple pleasures are the most important for our health and wellbeing. Good wine, delicious food and the company of friends are the recipe for a life well lived. Relax with us and enjoy a few Chic
To celebrate a friends birthday 12 of us visited for brunch, the restaurant helpfully contacted us in advance and suggested that rather than pre-order which is always tricky to co-ordinate that we let them choose the dishes for us. We were greeted at the door by very friendly staff member and served drinks whilst we waited for everyone to arrive. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed feel and we had 2 round tables together which allowed the conversation to flow. The food was really tasty, they choice a very wide range of dishes for us to try from delicious crispy thin pizza to fish and vegetarian options, every new dish was greeted with delight and clean plates which is always a bonus in a big group trying to please everyone. The wine flowed and our glasses were generously refilled before empty with high quality wine. Overall we were all very impressed and felt we had both had a lovely experience and great value for money.

A friendly, family run restaurant, serving authentic mediterranean food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Travelling back from Southampton we were looking for an evening meal and figured that a small village would be ideal. Having parked up we walked up and down the High St and cafes were closed, and the pub menus didnt entice us in. On first passing, Giorgios was closed, opening at 6pm, so we returned just as the doors were opened. It is just a small shop front, and the door leads straight on to the stairs and down to the restaurant. At first it seemed a bit dark and dismal, but actually the atmosphere was good, especially once more diners arrived. Our waitress was really helpful, bringing us menus and a mini specials board. I ordered Moussaka and a side of fries and my wife had the seabass. Unfortunately this arrived whole and we had to ask for it to be de-headed, which was done without question. The one downside was that the meals took well over forty minutes to be served (and we were the first in the restaurant), but as they were being freshly cooked this was just about acceptable. The restaurant seemed to be quite busy for midweek, and is clearly well liked by the locals.

We arrived just after midday to a warm welcome. Surprisingly the restaurant became very busy with "ladies that lunch," and couples. We chose from the lunch specials menu; pizza's, and a pasta. The seafood pasta looked excellent and reportedly had great flavour. The pizza's whilst good were probably pre-frozen and re-heated as my mushrooms had that pre-heated look. Our deserts of ice-cream, tiramisu and rhubarb cakes were quite good. For the price and for a midweek lunch we were happy and content when we left. The service was great too. I would not rate as gourmet but a great simple Italian.Hello JohnThankyou for taking the time to review us. I have to respond that the pizza was certainly NOT frozen!! We make our pizzas to order and Iâm not sure what led to this idea but we use fresh dough and make when an order arrives.I do hope we will see you again and perhaps you can try some of our pastas next time.
