Reviews on Mediterranean food in Bolton, England, United Kingdom. Bolton (/ˈbɒltən/ ( listen) or locally [ˈbɜʏtn̩]) is a town in Greater Manchester in North West England. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The urbanisation and development of the town largely coincided with the introduction of textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Bolton was a 19th-century boomtown, and at its zenith in 1929 its 216 cotton mills and 26 bleaching and dyeing works made it one of the largest and most productive centres of cotton spinning in the world. The British cotton industry declined sharply after the First World War, and by the 1980s cotton manufacture had virtually ceased in Bolton.

Lovely meal ruined by poor service and no gap between courses. We had just finished our starters which also included a shared garlic bread and was all pretty filling then not literally 3 miinutes later our main courses arrived...i actually thought the waitress was giving them to the wrong table. I told her they had been served to us far too quickly ..she said nothing and just smiled and walked away. When she came back a few minutes later with some water i told her again about the main course being served far too quickly and that id like some feedback but no one came. So when i paid the bill i spoke to the guy behind the bar who said we should have asked for a break ... my reply was what u usually serve the main course within a few minutes of yhe starter being taken away!!! Obviously not getting anywhere with this so we left. For what was lovely food was spoilt because we couldnt eat it as we were so full from our starters and i resent paying for a meal for 1 i cudnt enjoy and for 2 i couldnt finish... wont be rushing back anytime soon. Also staff seriously need some training in how to deal with customers and to at the very least acknowledge their complaint....

A small cosy restaurant that offers fabulous food.It would serve you well to book first as there are only about a dozen tables ..The food is nothing short of fabulous and at reasonable prices...The menu is not expensive but there are decent choices. Another big plus is that you can bring your own drink .You are obliged to by soft drinks which is a reasonable request .we had 2 garlic bread a bruschetta followed by 2 pasta dishes and a chicken fillet in brandy & cream sauce with side vegetables..for all this and two diet cokes the bill was under £40..This price cannot be beaten...This is the 2nd time we have attended in as many weeks...

Wow really impressed. Came here for lunch and had difficulty pealing my rear from the chair to leave i was that impressed with the food; i could have quite happily eaten the whole menu it looked so tantalisingly delicious. I had a garlic bread with cheese and mushroom starter which i shovelled down my throat ignoring my gag reflex- simply stunning. I had a spinach side with a chicken ceaser sally- very impressed. Loved the toilet- clean, spacious- relaxing environment to drop the anchor in peace. I shall definitely be returning to sample more. Great gem of a place with a serene ambiance.

Another fantastic night with the family. 6 adults and 1 child went Friday 30th August. Ordered 3 starters, and two tomato garlic breads to start. All had main meals, and everyone enjoyed what they had picked. None of us could manage a desert as main meals are so filling here. Atmosphere great. All staff very polite and professional. Plus no rush to leave the table. We all agree would defo book again. Plus reasonable price

We did the 3 course Sunday special after 4 for under £14. Starters were good, garlic cheese bread amazing. Mains, carbonara was creamy and thick sauce. Very nice. Calzone was good, filling a little runny but very tasty. Dessert was mixed. The fudge cake was wonderful, my house special cheesecake was nice but let down by canned squirty cream and topped with tinned strawberryâs. Shame, as everything else was very good. Friendly staff but chatted to regulars and never asked how we were enjoying our food. I would go back, good value and quality was good. Thank you very much for your review, it means a lot to us that you enjoyed your meal and it motivates our team to impress and provide great food and service. We apologise about not giving you enough attention. We hope you will visit us again soon and just know that we will always do our best to make our customers happy.RegardsCiao Napoli

Tried this quaint little place after seeing it on TripAdvisor.Restaurant is small with a small menu too. No complaints from me and everything was clean and tidy.We went for the Yeeros which I guess is similar Gyros. It came in reasonable time as everything was cooked fresh. It tasted delicious and now we know where to go when we want a nice quick authentic Greek snack. Thanks Taste if Greece!

Really impressed by the veggie versions of the classic Greek dishes such as Mousaka and Dolmades. Plenty of dishes with the Meze thou a couple of extra Chicken options would have been welcomeFor your information, if you decide to visit again and have a Meze you can ask for the pork souvlaki (skewers) to be substituted with chicken souvlaki. We get this request often by customers that prefer chicken.

Boutique Modern Mediterranean restaurant - seasonal menu using only fresh produce always and a little Greek inspiration.
Booked a table for 4:30, arrived and showed into garden and asked to choose our table. It was lovely, well decorated and cocktails were fab. Food was really nice & well cooked, true that they say about courgette starter and sea bass, fries amazing but my other half not too taken with the beef & lots of hummus combo. Also a piece of plastic wrapper in the starter, we made them aware and said not to knock off the bill but we thought we may have had some apology which never came. An hour or so into our meal, we were asked to move table to a smaller one, given half carafe of wine on the house. I thought it was due to us being on a six table for just 3 of us so understood, but we were replaced by three ladies. From there on in, ignored unfortunately so had to go ask for dessert for our daughter. I donât know what to say really, came off the back of stunning reviews and so much amazing about this place. But we werenât treated very well and ended up feeling âin the wayâ so soon into our meal. There two hours total so donât think thatâs unreasonable for so early on a Saturday evening.Hi, absolutely unacceptable...I have emailed you regarding this matter. Thanks you for taking the time to let us know what happened. Huge apologies. Nicki xx
