Watery, bland, reheated food. It's a shame really, as the staff were wonderful. I ordered mousaka and it was watery and cold in the middle, with no flavour at all - you could tell it had been tray baked all day and left under a heat lamp. My girlfriend ordered chicken souvlaki and received a plain chicken skewer, no seasoning, no bread, and a dollop of rice and peas, carrots, tzatziki on each corner of the plate. She was left hungry and dissatisfied. I'm not sure if the taverna isn't doing too well, but my understanding is that food is made to order and it'd be a little more logical to make food as you get orders if you're not getting many customers. We didn't return.

We visited this restaurant during a lunch time and pleased we found this traditional Greek Taverna with a great selection of Greek dishes. The view from this Taverna is stunning and it's located just outside of Bali as you head towards Rethymon on the left hand side about 1/2 mile past the Bali turning

Hot and tired on our first day in Crete we chose here at random and were very happy. Portion size generous (we ordered too many chips) and great calamari. Pretty spot overlooking the harbour good for people watching. Cool out of the sun.

Delicious traditional food! This restaurant is run by Stelios, his wife and his brother. The sweet daughters complete the super friendly staff. They use local and seasonal products. We had tried different dishes and everything was fresh and tasty. We will definitely come back soon. ÎÏ ÏαÏιÏÏÏ ÏολÏ....

The best things about this restaurant are itâs wonderful position, overlooking a small, sandy cove, and itâs stylish âbeachâ decor. Although the service was good, the food was not very good. We had mixed veg, which was ok, spare ribs, which were very meaty but lacking in taste and my gyros was just about ok. I would go back here, but I would not be looking forward to the food on offer.

We were one week in Bali and ate here every day!! Food is excellent, stuff super friendly!Whatever you will choose from the menu you will not make mistake! Vine and raki are the best we had in Creta!!! We really adore family which owns this place, super nice and friendly with perfect food!!!Do not miss this venue!!!

We visited the beach on many occasions and each time enjoyed the hospitality of this warm and friendly taverna. The menu is like many other Tarvernas, but we always had a tasty meal, with ample portions and at a good price. Definitely a great place to relax and chill.

Every time we visit Galini, we enjoy our meals. Babis always makes us feel welcome. The traditional Greek food is delicious. My favourite is meatballs, but we have never been disappointed in our choice. Portion sizes are very generous. Well worth a visit!

We've been coming to this amazing tavern for years... it is always so friendly and welcoming, everyone wants to make sure you have a good time. Loyal customers and newcomers, everybody is guaranteed to experience something great, service is absolutely amazing, true to the legendary Cretan hospitality. The food is fresh and delicious every single time and the atmosphere is so uplifting you almost get the feeling you are dining with your entire family. Lamb chops, seafood or traditional vegetarian dishes, everything is exceptionally tasty. Add the view and the chirrping sounds of the cicadas and you will never want to go home. It looks different than it's neighbours and that is GOOD!Its street food , at a great Price you get a solid and delicious meal. It's certainly not as "cosy" as the other tavernas but the price and quality show that they know what they are! A small,fast and delicious streetfood kitchen !!
