Azeitão (São Lourenço e São Simão) is a civil parish in the municipality of Setúbal, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes São Lourenço and São Simão. The population in 2011 was 18,877, in an area of 69.32 km². It is composed of a cluster of small "aldeias" or small villages, some of those are: Vila Fresca de Azeitão, Vila Nogueira de Azeitão, Brejos de Azeitão, Aldeia de Irmãos, Vendas de Azeitão. Serra da Arrábida and Portinho are very special places. The landscape and the sea remind us of Capri. The difference relies in the water temperature.We ate âcaldeiradaâ, a mixture of different fishes cooked with potatoes, onions, tomato and peppers.It tasted really good! As starters, we got fresh cheese with pink peppercorn, olives and bread. Everything was very good. As dessert, the almond tart.The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The environment is stunning.

We walked into the first restaurant on the parking and didn't get to look at the other 2 behind it. As it turns out, our food was excellent. We had the light lunch we wanted but the bill wasn't as light at nearly 50⬠for 2 with no wine.

The food is very good, I particularly recommend the Picanha and the Espetada. The service is usually quite good, albeit a tad slow when they are busier. I didn't give it five stars because I think that it's quite expensive, especially given its location.

The food at this restaurant is very good. We had the grilled fish which was excellent, octopus rice was really good. Octopus salad and clams also really good. Excellent wine list. Prices are a little higher than other local restaurants but value given food qualityAt the end of the meal our friend felt unwell (unrelated to the food) and the owners son was very helpful calling an ambulance the taxis. Highly recommend.

Although full of locals - we were quickly told German spoken downstairs & English upstairs! From the outside you have no idea how large the restaurant is inside. Place is clean & service prompt.Staff very helpful & informative. Only one menu in English! Portions of meat were huge and very tastey. Meat delivered on a very attractive platter garnished with fruit & various sauces. Prices by European standards were very cheap. Local wine selection was good - the carafed house red wine more than adequate.

We ate 4 nights at this restaurant during a recent trip to Azeitao The food is really good - lots of fresh fish and tasty meat. Make sure to have the "Best Chocolate cake in the world " it's homemade ! The staff were helpful and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend that you book as it's very busy
