Started with patatas brava, nothing like you would expect, delicious potatoes delicately presented with tasty toppings.Also had the white garlic soup, wonderful!For main courses we had short rib of beef and scallops with foie Gras. Both were lovely.There were nice touches too. A nice amuse and lovely bread with dips.Would recommend to anyone. Note restaurant closed Wednesdays

This was the perfect valentines dinner. Live band, food was absolutely amazing, staff knowledgeable about gluten free options. They even provided roses! Well done and thanks for the amazing experience.

We chosen Sa tafona becoz of the beautiful location and great reviews on Trip Advisor. However we are very disappointed. We wanted to book a table and we called the restaurant but no one pick up the phone. In the voice message mentioned the opening hour is at 12 for lunch. We arrived there at 12, the restaurant is closed after driving all the way from our hotel for more than 20mins. We checked the opening hours on Trip Advisor it says 12:30. So we drove around n wait until 12:30 then return to the restaurant. The gate of the restaurant is opened, so we thought the restaurant is finally opened. Once we parked our car n walked towards the entrance, one of the staff came outside n told us, âSorry, we r closed, Maybe we open at 13.â Thats not acceptable!!!! What is Maybe??? Or they think they can open whenever they want and customers must wait??? Seems like they dun really care how the customers feel! We are very disappointed and angry, of coz we didnât wait another half an hour. They would definitely need to amend the opening hours online. Mallorca is a touristic island and all the tourists get info from internet. We stay limited time on the island for our holiday and absolutely dun wanna wait our time on a restaurant like this! Even though how amazing the food is, we lost totally our interest. Lo siento tube problemas que a nadie mas que a mi me interesan.,pero si de algo estoy tranquilo es de que no he hecho un delito si no haber llegado tarde y eso no es delito ni que tengan que esperar para dejar el restaurante en condiciones para los clientes.Si con este comentsrio estan satisfechos pues....buen provecho.

We had our best dinner in Sa Gripia during our round trip all over Mallorca. We tried many different - said to be fancier - restaurants during the week, but Sa Gripia was simply the best. The place the mood and food were all perfect. The owner visited us with the table and explained all foods in detail to let us choose. Prices are reasonable reservation recomended.

When we passed this place mid-morning we thought it was a cross between a shop, a museum and a children's entertainment venue. We entered the shop/museum to explore and could see somebody in an amazing costume telling a story to a rapt audience of children in a back room.When we passed again at lunchtime we discovered this back room was part of a cafe also on this site. So we entered again to enjoy a lovely lunch in the small but beautiful courtyard. We were the only people eating - what a shame! I think they need to make it more obvious that there is a cafe at the back of the shop.We always say that the peace and calm you can find here is a treasure. On summertime is very hard to find a place where you can be relaxed and calm, so if everybody see our place on first it couldn't be so quiet!Anyway we hope you to come back here and enjoy with us again.Thank you very much!

Good choice for vegans and veggies, also carnivores. Good service. The courtyard at the back is beautiful in the evening, and gives a good vibe. Reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Can recommend for a relaxing evening meal.

Ses cocines is Catalan or Mallorquin for âcousinsâ & is run by three cousins from Barcelona who have upped the ante in Artà - a beautiful town in the south-east of Mallorca.Yolanda, Beatrice & Merche accompanied by the handsome Salvatore infuse a decadent & mouth- watering ensemble of flavours that tantalise & tickle the taste-buds eliciting a climactic response not dissimilar to Meg Ryanâs orgiastic performance in âWhen Harry Met Sallyâ.As an old friend of mine from St Kitts used to say to me, âif God made anything better than that, he kept it to himselfâ (mind you he was talking about sex at the time!).

Visited for dinner while in ARTA. Wide Choice of meat dishes available. Ox tail was stripped off the bone and pressed. Well cooked and tasty. The octopus served slightly differently coming in s fish stock. Also good. House red was earthy, more like a wine from volcanic soil, a dark colour and delicious. They are obviously trying to present food and drinks to a high standard only one thing has lowered my rating. The meet in the burger was not what I expected. It had a smokey aftertaste.Thanks for your recommend...will be fine that you tell us in the Restaurant what you don´t like.Later we can do nothing...were ask you that ist everthing is ok....the answer was yeah fine only a little bit to much food...10⬠tip...i don´t understand why you don´t tell us the taste from the burger is not ok...Everytime later and via Tripadvisor...Sorry we are the Cooks not Tripadvisor

Being located in Arta' for our holidays in Maiorca, it was very convenient for us to try this restaurant and I have to say that the choice was very good.Friendly, efficient, with a nice menù where you can find several selections all very actractive and really good.We tried the plate of tapas (more than enough for two) and the mixed paella, also quite big.It was enough for three adults.Beverages and coffee (it's a must but always risky when you're abroad, it was good) for a bit more than 20 euro per person.We shall repeat soon.

What a great place , location is fantastic make sure you get the right place as the bars either side will try to get you in , service is speedy and friendly drinks and food brilliant. We will definitely be back .
