Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Aranjuez. Aranjuez is the home of Palacio Real (Royal Palace), the spring residence of Spanish kings since the late 1880s. The beautiful gardens surrounding the palace are just as famous as the residence and are the inspiration for “Concierto de Aranjuez” by Joaquin Rodrigo, one of Spain’s most significant composers of the 20th century. During the summer, join the local tradition of eating dinner in the picnic area next to the Tagus River. UNESCO designated Aranjuez as a World Heritage landscape in 2001 and a very large casino was built in 2005.

Very good creative cuisine. I had the 10 course vegetable menu, which was a bit uneven quality. Some of it extremely good like the sea-bass appetizer (the only non-vegetable/fruit part) and two asparagus delights. But also a few less interesting concoctions, like the two onion dishes served the one after the other. In the end, an enjoyable but not light meal. The accompanying wine option is reasonably priced and generous. The service is kind, and does everything possible for your enjoyment. I would go back and recommend Casa José, although I found it not to be the best restaurant in Aranjuez.

our restaurant is located in the center of Aranjuez city. only 300m2 from the royal palace. it is well known in our know-how in cooking and preparing delicious Lebanese dishes as well as Spanish traditional ones. you will feel like at home and the service
This is a quiet and comfortable restaurant, which offers Mediterranean and Lebanese food. The place looks brand new and impeccable clean, having a contemporary decor. The food is homey, tasty and well cooked, being the servings in average quantities. Very friendly staff. Medium prices.

De nuestro restaurante en Aranjuez «El Tomate» salen los platos y tapas más apetecibles de la cocina de mercado nacional. Una carta de calidad, elaborado con los ingredientes más frescos y donde la excelencia es su protagonista. Nuestro restaurante, hace
This restaurant is all about the tomato. They serve tapas, steaks, vegetables and a lot more but I think the best thing they serve are the tomatoes. Big, ripe and meaty and only dessed with some salt and olive oil, they were amazing! Because I am a vegetarian I tried to order a plate with cheese and vegetables off the menu. Because my spanish is to so good, it took a while before they understood but the servers were very nice and helpfull and the plate of vegetables I got was very nice.

The ambience and service in the restaurant are excellent. The staff are pleasant and helpful but speak little English. We were given an English menu but some of the translation is a bit funny. We ordered the goats cheese and mango salad the ribs and beef cheeks which never arrived we asked twice for them and got another portion of ribs which we ate because they are so lovely and tender really tasty. Despite using the waiters iPhone to translate beef cheeks to Spanish another portion of ribs arrived so we gave up. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and the food

Thank goodness for this delightful restaurant in a town bereft of places open to eat on an April evening. We arrived too early for dinner, but had a drink and managed to communicate with our non-existent Spanish. The man behind the bar (who later doubled as the waiter) was patient and friendly, apologised for the wait for the restaurant to open and even managed to find a menu in English to compare with the Spanish menu with which we were struggling. The meal was delicious, the wine was reasonably priced and very good, and the service friendly and efficient. Would not hesitate to recommend such a lovely place.

Almazara Restaurant has been a family business for 8 years. We have recently moved and our new location is in Calle del Real nº1 in Aranjuez. We are situated next to the Princess Garden and close to the Royal Palace (5-7 minutes walking) and to the other

This is currently my favourite place in Aranjuez. The place itself is modern and clean, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The quality of the food is exceptional given the prices. Desserts are delicious and ´different´ and the coffee tasty. I also like that they have a cheese table to the left as you walk in and you can choose bits of what you fancy which are served as an aperitif along with marinated olives. I think anyone would be hard pushed to find fault with Aguatinta. It´s a must for every itinerary.

Cocina de mercado con gran calidad del producto, dando un toque de autor en la cocina acompañado de un excelente servicio de camareros y sumiller.
This was an incredible lunch! The service was excellent, but more than anything the food what EXCELLENT. The salmorejo was some of the best I have ever had in Spain. The gazpacho was fresh and bright. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and the fried eggplant was absolutely stunning. Be sure to get the strawberries for dessert, as it is a specialty of the town. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A friend recommended the restaurant when we had some friends in town and we were not disappointed. The service was perfect, polite, friendly, knowledgeable. The menu is not cheapest youâll find on the âstripâ of restaurants in the town but itâs worth the extra. We shared some platters of jamón, croquetas and and local seasonal asparagus over an appetitive drink. For main course some of the group shared the âcook to your likingâ meat option which is visually lovely and the others choose sirloin or fillets. All dishes were served with sautéed potatoes & green or red peppers. We were so stuffed we didnât order dessert but the waiter insisted we share one bowl of their locally picked strawberries served with cream and a liqueur on the house with some biscuits. The total bill incl the appetitive drinks, a glass of wine with dinner, a tea and 3 large bottles of water was â¬45,00 per person.Tip: book very early in advance if you want to be guaranteed a patio or terrace table. We were inside which was fine and as we arrived at 13:45, we were on our own for the majority of the service.

Popular market counter restaurant with simple, hearty food, really good value for money. Portions are massive, good quality, fresh ingredients, many options both fish and meat, veggie starters although no veggie main. Only thing you need to know is that service gets really slow on weekends so plan to have at least a good two hours ahead.
