I have been to this restaurant several times in the past few years. The quality has been the same ever. It isn't a restaurant like all the others. Rice, potatoes, sprouts, are made like granny would do it. I had "Negalhos" (goat stomach filled with meat), "Arroz de Cabidela" (chicken rice made with wine and blood) and "Cabrito" (male billy goat cooked in the oven). The wine was a Bairrada wine from Cantanhede that was suitable for the astringent effect that was needed over strong flavoured dishes. I strongly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Restaurante requintado com pratos de autor! Local acolhedor e sossegado. Apenas utilizamos produtos de grande qualidade! Local para não fazer apenas uma refeição mas para desfrutar de uma experiência de sabores.
I was looking for a good meal near where I was staying in the Ãgueda region. This turned out to be one of the best meals I had during my entire 25 day stay in Portugal. The Gaspacho was impeccable: a bowl was brought to the table with a disc of shredded fresh mozzarella held together with a basil pesto and the gaspacho (which had been puréed and had a light slightly creamy colour) was poured over over this disc from a tea pot. It was fresh and bright and exactly what i needed after a day out walking around in hot sun.The Bacalhau com Broa was beautiful: the chefâs take on this Portuguese classic was marvellous! It was hearty, the salt cod was tender and the corn bread crust was perfect.I left thoroughly satisfied and was excited to bring my girlfriend there a week later. I will post this review separately. If youâre in the Ãgueda region you should/must make room in your schedule to go to this restaurant. On top of the fantastic food, the owners are wonderful, knowledgeable and excellent hosts.

Typical Portuguese Taberna specialized in barbecue.
Taberna Belo - Loved the outdoor sitting, go here for a nice coffee, meal, particularly lunch is good too.

The atmosphere of this local almost fine dining restaurant was so authentic, warm and friendly. Definitely a dinner place, book in advance. We were two couples from Finland and New Zealand, loving the lamb cutlets, great desserts. Nice wine list, full of local's, enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended.

Just been to this restaurant with family and had a fantastic experience. The chef showed us into the kitchen so we could see the beautiful fish and shellfish and then made dinner based on what we liked and, very happily on various allergies! All of the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and you could see the chef has a real passion for the ingredients. I really don't have a negative thing to say and would definitely come back, the meal was also very reasonably priced

Sympathetic and professional employeesVery good value for the price, for the daily dishes.Exists degustation menus harmonized with pricy wines.
