Had dinner and didn't booked it in advance. No problem as it was during the week. Good fish and wine.Only problem no English menu and little english spoken (from the chef, not the waitress). But still a good choice at good prices.Dog friendly

Wonderful seafood and pasta, and a lovely ambiance. The seafood ravioli was particularly good. This is one of two restaurants in Lerici recommended by relatives who spend several months a year in the area. These family-owned places are so welcoming and friendly and the seafood is so fresh. A delight.

1918 was highly recommended to us by two locals the first day we arrived in Lerici and it turns out they were spot on. The food is fresh and creative and the energetic staff compromised of the owner's family members work together in perfect harmony to provide outstanding customer service.

this is an excellent place for sea food.the menue offers almost just that - in many different ways, but not too many.take your time, it will take a while. enjoy the wine. (the whie house wine is good.)a vegetarian will find only pasta with pesto, salad or potato chips.meat lovers just ham.it's not fine dining, but it's above mid range.4 + 2 kids paid over ⬠120 in total.

We had a lovely romantic dinner with a stunning view of the river and mountains. The restaurant is known for its seafood, which was excellent. Staff were very professional and friendly, even helping us take a picture with the restaurant camera for our anniversary dinner. By far the best restaurant we have tried in the region.

I didn't get any fried food but I would have. It looked great. I had the fish curry and it was excellent. I loved it. I highly recommend trying that.

The restaurant is at the 2nd floor of the hotel which gives some beautiful views. The food is wonderful-the free starter and the fish is delicious, but you don't have too much to choose as the menu includes 3 menus. Overall, I'd recommend you to visit this lovely place!

Three of us ordered three different tester oil dishes with three different sauces: Ragu, pesto and walnut. Every one was completely inedible due to an excessive quantity of salt. We do not waste anything, but this was vile and would have played havoc with blood pressure levels. Instead I recommend A Pie de Ma in Riomaggiore and I Fondachi in Sarvana.

I love this restaurant, I've been here with family and friends, possibly as many as 10 times over 4 or 5 years. The food is mostly outstanding as is the service. Its a little hard to find and the very long driveway up does require good to outstanding driving skills as its very narrow. Suggest you turn your side mirrors in. Regarding the food I have two suggestions, which would earn it a five. 1. How about improving the bread. It has gotten better now that they've done away with the brown bags and now use baskets. Its still not up to their standards. 2. Heat the plates when the dish is hot. On my last visit I mentioned this and was informed that they did this but only when serving steaks. Very, very hard to understand. Please heat the plate if the food is being served hot. Service is outstanding. If you ask they have an English language menu.

It would be 1 star if not for the staff friendness.I was here for dinner, arranged for 20:15 (times are relevant). The restaurant offers 4 set menus, all of them have focaccia with different companion food, water and a glass of house wine:1. A cured meats and cheeses tagliere, and a veggie souffle (20 euros)2. A porcini pasta dish followed by a porcini tagliata (25 euros)3. A wild boar pasta dish followed by wild boar and polenta (20 euros)4. A mixed grilled meats meal (30 euros, min 2 people)Orders were taken at 20:30. Some focaccia appeared within minutes. I opted for the porcini set meal.Around 20:50 people who took meal 1 were served. But people who took meals 2 and 3 had to wait until 21:30 (!!!) to get their pasta. And the main courses of meals 2 and 3 were served around 22:10. Times were clearly not acceptable. But, at least for meal 2, the food itself was NOT acceptable as well, completely different from what normally meant to be (and of course, what was served was much cheaper than what expected). To be explicit:The porcini pasta was served with a sauce mainly made of smoked bacon with only tiny bits of porcini: the porcini flavour utterly lost, given the huge amount of smoked baconThe main course, advertised as a tagliata chianina with porcini, is meant to be a slab of meat at least 5 cm thick, done on charcoal, sliced in 1 cm thick slices, covered in fresh raw porcini cut in a julienne fashion: instead I got a slab of meat barely 3 cm thick unevenly cooked (and NOT on charcoal), cut in thick slabs, deadly cold (!!!), covered by slices of Parmesan cheese, and with a tablespoon of porcini sauce on a side: totally unacceptable, it is almost cheating the customer.I did look around, and the set meal 1, although fairly abundant, was also on the cheap side: some plain different cured meats, a couple of cheap spread cheeses (gorgonzola and stracchino), some anchovies: normally, a "plate of cheese" means a selection of cheeses with some peculiarities (like mountain goat cheese, cheese with herbs etc): again, what served here is far from what normally expected when a cheese plate is advertised.
