Wir hatten schon viel über dieses Lokal gehört, welches allgemein unter dem Namen "Büdeli Berneck" bekannt ist. Teils waren die Meinungen etwas kontrovers was das Essen anbelangt. Also wollten wir uns selbst ein Bild machen und sind zusammen mit einem befreundeten Ehepaar zum Abendessen hingangen.Im Lokal hat es nur wenig Platz, schätzungsweise für 12-14 Personen. Es gibt pro Abend nur ein Menu, wer zuerst reseviert, kann evtl. noch Einfluss auf die Wahl der Speisen nehmen.Als erstes fällt das alte Haus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert auf, schon das ist eine Augenweide. Empfangen wird man von einer warmen und sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre. Wir konnten den Apéro in der Küche trinken und sahen bereits das Bisonfilet, welches vom Chef gekonnt auf dem Grill auf Rebholz angebraten wurde.Das Essen war dann sehr delikat. Ein Wintersalat mit Orangendressing zum Einstieg. Als Hauptgang das Bisonfilet mit einer sensationellen eingekochten Sauce mit einer Art Ribelrisotto. (Anmerkung: Ribel ist ein traditionelles Maisgericht im Rheintal, früher ein Armeleuteessen. Heute wird dies wieder gepflegt und auch etwas aufgepeppt und auch als eine Art Risotto gekocht!) Das Dessert war sehr frisch und die Portion so angemessen, dass man nicht gemästet wurde.Es ist ein sehr persönliches Ambiente, sehr gemütlich und gepflegt. Urs Zünd ist zudem Glasbläser und man trint den ganzen Abend aus seinen handgefertigten Gläser, einfach toll.Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl bei Theresa und Urs Zünd. Sie waren sehr nette und trotzdem dezente Gastgeber. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder hingehen.Für das Wochenende frühzeitig reservieren.

We visited on a Monday evening. The service was excellent, our food was bought out quickly and tasted beautiful. The children were kept occupied in a lovely little children's corner whilst the adults finished off their food. Overall, a beautiful restaurant, with lovely Christmas decor and a friendly atmosphere! :)

The retaurant is situated in a suburban area, customers are locals, few tourists, but - probably for that reason - the food is very good (pizze and other)The service people are very friendly and efficient.It can be crowdy sometimes - reserve in advance

the restaurant and bar are at a corner, at the end of a bigger italian food shop.the pasta with seafood was salty and dry. the pizza was just average.service and kitchen slow.price was over what i received.perhaps it is better as a shop than as a restaurant.i will not return when passing through lustenau.Dear Atontao,we've been very sorry to read your comment on Tripadvisor and have been also very sadthat you haven't told us anything while you have been in our Restaurant.Otherwise we would have tried to fix our mistakes with new dishes and a drink on the bill of the house.We are anyway thankful for your comment so we can improve our service and hope that,if you're next time close to our restaurant you come inside and talk to me, Giovanni, so I can invite you for a coffe or a bier!Best wishes Giovanni and the team of Italia a Tavola!

I had dinner here after reading the many positive reviews hereunder. My choice proved excellent. Table booking recommended: even midweek the restaurant was full. Thumbs-up to the lady owner for her friendly and efficient service. Upon bringing each dish, she took time to explain the ingredients - much interesting. As the owners are Italians, the menu puts focus on produce from their home region La Marche. I began with the Antipasto Italiana - a sample of Italian starters: Parma ham, cheese, salsiccia, olives, aubergine. Truly generous and delicious portion. As main course I chose the homemade pasta ââPassatelliââ - with cream, salsiccia, porcini, truffles. So good that I licked the plate clear!! As dessert I indulged myself with a homemade Cassata - refreshing and delicious. The bill remained at Swiss price level and amounted to CHF75. On my next visit in the area I will surely come back to lâAngolo dei Sapori.
