Having experienced some appalling service in Malaga, this was a great. The owner spoke several languages, was friendly and helpful. The food was lovely - we stuck to the tapas - and was very promptly served. Chocolate cake was excellent. Would definitely go there again.

Small restaurant of eleven tables, La Luz de Candela proposes a seasonal fresh food cuisine. The dishes are cooked or prepared at the order. Because of an increasing number of " not show ", the reserved tables will be liberated 10 minutes after the bookin
We visited this restaurant for dinner on a Friday night. All food is prepared fresh and menu is focussed therefore still offering great variety of starters, meat and fish. You can choose between small, medium and large portions for most dishes.Everything we had was very tasty and nicely arranged. Absolutely delicious.Wine menu is also nice with good selection of local wine. Wines are priced very fairly - between â¬15-25 a bottle.Do not miss out on the nice desert wines they offer.Service was outstanding - the team is not only attentive and friendly but is also very skilled language wise (french and English covered perfectly well). Most important the team is really enjoying hosting their guests and they have great recommendations. Thanks for a fantastic evening.

Went here for dinner last week. Ambience inside is typically Spanish.Service average, food average, the steak was tough. We sat outside, not attempt to differentiate themselves form any other average vents/restaurant in Andalucia. We ordered: a single x piquino relleno, 1 x entrecôte steak with fries and onions, and a mixed salad. A bottle of red wine.Bill came to E43.40

Visited this restaurant several times during our stay in Ãlora, delicious food and value for money unbelievable, staff work really hard and the female waitress is extremely friendly, we donât speak much Spanish but do our best to try and I think itâs appreciated, Andalucia Day was particularly busy but they worked like trojans to accommodate all of their customers.

We had lunch in this small and intimate restaurant and were delighted with the service, food and ambience. The place was once the family home and is now a very cosy restaurant full of antiques, paintings and interesting knick nacks. The owner is happy to chat about the history of the place and the objects within it. The food is delicious, the wine is wonderful and all at a wonderful price. Fantastic value for money. It's a little way from the centre of Malaga but worth the short trip in a taxi to get there. Our second visit and we will be back again.

Our family enjoyed a celebratory birthday dinner here with a group of 12 adults and 3 infants. After enjoying the view before dinner, we were seated at a round table large enough to accommodate all of us!Afterward one of our group mentioned this was the best meal they had ever had! And we are a group of foodies! Our hats off to the friendly and competent staff, also, for making us feel comfortable even with small children.
