We wanted to go to Trattoria La Piola on Saturday for lunch. According to their opening hours, they were open, but unfortunately, the doors were shut without any announcement. Very disappointing, since we planned our lunch break in the morning and were very hungry and looked forward to eat in exactly this trattoria. Also the opening hours on the entrance door stated that the trattoria should be open.

We tried to find some other restaurants and stumbled across this cute, quaint place. It opened at 8pm and we were the first table in. The server, possibly owner, was very friendly and helpful with good English. Good food selection written on a chalk board so I assume it switches daily. After ordering we received a complementary couscous salad and of course bread and breadsticks. Our antipastis and mains were all delicious and reasonably sizeable. Everything about 8 to 15 euros. good wine selection. The whole small place (8 tables?) filled up in 30 mins. Ottimo!

Originally went there on a recomendation. Have eaten here for years mainly for business. Food and wine excellent. Nice atmosphere and the owner and his family are super people who know their business. Generally busy throughout the week.

The Paladin is a family-run trattoria 70 that proposes traditional dishes Alexandrina with nods occasionally to other regions of Italy . We welcome all nice people and collegiate that are the engine of our enthusiasm and gladly accept tips and information
I have just been to this place that had 6-8 tables outside. The neighbourhood did not look safe but restaurant looked ok. Got one of the three free tables with my partner and we waited for someone to come with menu for 15 minutes. In the meanwhile the guy served another Italian couple and an Italian family that arrived after us and that looked locals. My Italian partner went inside asking for a menu. The guy told him to wait at the table and that the female waitresses would have arrived. after 5 minutes a waitress went outside, my partner made a sign to her she saw us and went back inside. we then decided to leave. My partner went inside to tell the guy we were leaving and the guy was also smiling and arrogant. Me and my partner dine a lot outside, and this was one of our worst experience.

I Due Buoi - Michelin Star Restaurant. The restaurant is open: Mon - Fri 12:30 - 14:30 with the Light Lunch menu. Mon - Sat 20:00 - 22:30 with the Gourmet menu. Closed on Sunday.
We were two couples that went for a lunch in June 2017. The overall experience was great, on every level. Service was attentive (and the wine suggestions perfect!), ambiance very nice and the food is amazing. The asian influences of chef Jumpei Kuroda (who came to the table to introduce us to the main dishes) are a perfect match to Piemonte's cuisine. This is one of the those rare restaurants that performs way above its price point.Thank you so much for your opinion. We are very pleased that you enjoyed the kitchen full of flavours by Jumpei kuroda and our wine suggestions. But the most significant compliment is: "this is one of the those rare restaurants that performs way above its price point".That is our main mission together to give a unique experience to our customers.

Pure gem in heart of Alessandria very close to Duomo. Excellent food, extremely friendly and helpful service and Italian only speaking staff adds charm and homely warmth to this place! Add to that the owner who looks like young Al Pacino! Definitely the place not to miss! Loved it!

I have been here during the winter and reaching the place was quite easy. There is a big enough car parking free of charge for restaurant guests. The service quality is very high, waiters and waitresses are very polite, helpful and well prepared about the food preparation process, ingredients used, pairing of tastes and wine selection. The carte does not have a huge selection of food, which is already a sign of good quality!Portions are neither too small nor excessive, which makes a full course worth trying (starter, main course and dessert). The restaurant also offers a small pre-starter and a post-dessert which are very good accompaniers of the food selection. It's surely not a place to go for a cheap meal, as the good quality provided will be somehow reflected in the bill. For a starter, a main course, a dessert and a glass of wine per person you can expect to pay around â¬45 each.I definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody fancying quality food
