Closed for holidays until 10th of September 2018
Extremely popular paella restaurant, always full and queueing, so book in advance. They provide all kinds of paella, including common seafood or inkfish versions. I would recommend paella valenciana, the earliest and most traditional Valencia taste. This and the vegetarian paella are the 2 dishes that need to book at least 1 day in advance.

Bistrot vineria
The food in this place is really memorable. The lady who served us was from Sardinia and there were Sardinian influences in the food. The wine selection was great and everything at reasonable prices. Will definitely go here again. Thank you so much MarjanS for your opinion about Palao. We always trying to offer the best to our customers and also taking a great attention in the service. Really thank you.

Grillo Grill Bar is a new concept of Grill restaurant where the good care of the products is our biggest concern. We work with mediterranean influences, giving our Menu a big variety of vegetables, meat and fish.
This well orchestrated concert of flavors delighted my tastebuds to foodtopia......My friends enjoyed tremendously the timing of each shared dish and the aroma of the grilled meats. The service was impeccable and chef talented beyond words....Thanks for this hidden gem and Amazing Food Adventure while traveling abroad!

The only restaurant in the center of Valencia that uses the Josper oven, challenging the traditional Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, to enhance the flavors of the typical dishes. Unlike the other restaurants, we are the first in the center of Valencia
After an hour enveloped in throngs of tourists, this restaurant, located in a pleasant square a few minutes walk from the main axis in Valencia offered a welcome respite. The food ands service were outstanding - thank you to Mario and Irene for your gracious hospitality, your suggestions and the wonderful food you served! An interesting southern Italian menu with a variety of innovative ways of serving pasta.

PULPO arrives in the city of Valencia with a gastronomic proposal that fuses the flavors of the Mediterranean coasts, a selection of dishes that combines tradition and innovation.
Location - a short taxi ride from the center of town - but worth seeking out . Atmosphere- spacious, relaxed , very nice . Plenty of space between tables . The service - amazing - all the servers were super friendly and helpful . The food - excellent. I loved the ham with truffle, egg and asparagus dish . The stuffed sardines and the thick seafood soup were great as well . The octopus with mango sauce was good but perhaps not the best octopus Iâve ever had. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

Restaurant with modern and delicious dishes with eggs and many more!
The texture, taste and quality of the tapas are on another level. Every dish was a best in class and it was impossible to fault the restaurant, the service was attentive but not encroaching, the pricing was very reasonable considering the food here outshines other restaurants in the city that charge twice as much. If there was something I could take back from Valencia it would be this restaurant. A must.

We were very disappointed. We took the degustation menu with selected wines, and with speeds of lightning dishes and 'corresponding' wines (which didn't really match) were 'served', which means simply added to whatever was still at the table. At one point we had 2 dishes and 3 glasses of wine. It was ridiculous. There are way better options, even for the price.. No explanation about food.We were quick because, as we discussed before sitting, we need a table en in an hour and a half and and we have left you half an hour more, modifying all the reserves of the second shift. The tasting menu has 4 dishes+dessert (19.50â¬) and the wine pairing are 8⬠for person. We believe that wines are well pared and 5 dishes every 25 minutes it's ok. We are sorry if you need more time and if you don't like the wine pairing.RegardsElisa

Favela Bistro in Valencia is more than just a restaurant. It is a comfortable and lively place that makes you feel like you are on vacation. Our menu is a proposal of fusion cuisine, cosmopolitan, that keeps our tropical and Mediterranean essence alive.
Having lived in this emblematic Valencian neighborhood in the shadows of the Mestalla football stadium for more than a decade, my family and I enjoyed the variety of bars, cafes and local-flavored eateries which occupied the space of the original Favela Bistro. The new Bistro space, just around the corner from their previous home, is an immaculate, naturally-lit and tastefully decorated establishment suitable for any type of meal and occasion. The food is unpretentious and thoughtfully created to suit even the most discernible palate. The highlight is their "menu del dÃa," or fixed-price lunch (they also have a fixed-price dinner menu), which at around 12 euros for a two-course meal with dessert included is a great value. It may not be located right smack dab in the city center, but Valencia is a fairly small, extremely walkable city and your journey on foot to Favela Bistro will take you about 15-20 minutes from the farthest point of the heart of Valencia. Great atmosphere, service and attention to detail make this a standout.Richard, gracias. Es una reto de ocupar un espacio cuyo antecesores son gente renombrada en la gastronomÃa valenciana, y tiene dificultad añadida a la hora de complacer los habituales. Me alegro haberlo conseguido!
