Words cannot express how amazing our dining experience was here. The restaurant is very simple⦠Very vocal⦠But the best meal that we had in our three weeks in Italy. From the service to the attention that we got, from the delicious meals that were carefully prepared to the fresh ingredients that were used, I will be thinking about this restaurant until I return to Italy. The pasta fagioli tasted like my Nonna's. Can't find that anywhere. Pizza was the best we had on the whole trip. They made a special pesto pasta for my young daughters. They liked the plates. The vegetables we chose for appetizers were incredible. I can't wait to go back here.

The real home of the Mediterranean diet. Our Cilentan kitchen is closely linked to the Mediterranean diet, a typical nutritional model of the ancient Cilento. The first to notice the benefits of a diet based on the products of the Cilento, and also on his
We were recommended to go here by the hotel and were not disappointed. The seating arrangement in an outdoor style terrace arounds plants/trees was beautiful and the well in the middle a nice feature. Food was delicious, between 7 of us we sampled a lot of dishes, in particular the octopus dishes and linguine/grilled fish were very good. Not too expensive for the quality of food, around 13-15 euros for a main dish.Highly recommended.

Went as family of four for dinner (children 6+8). Service friendly and attentive. Standard menu of antipasta and pasta, plus fresh fish dishes and some meat. Cold octopus salad was pretty tasty. Plate of sardines and seafood pasta also good. A solid choice.

I had dinner here with my girlfriend because we wanted to try neapolitan pizza. It was a lovely experience for us!! The staff, the atmosfere and more importantly the food are excellent. I recommend the "frittatina" and the "mozzarella in carrozza". Great job!

I can really not understand the positive reviews. I ordered a primo and secondo with gamba. After a while it became clear that they did not have gamba. A bit strange in high season, but fine... I ordered something else. The risotto with saffran was so much, that i could literally feed 6 adults easily. No joke! To me the amount is just not inviting and not italian. The taste of the risotto was fine, i just left 90 percent of the dish, since i ordered a secondo. Now, what they served me after, was just ridiculous. I have no clue what to call this dish and would be ashamed if i were the chef that made it. It was a big pile of iceberg salad with corn. On top of it were some slices of crab (??? probably...not even sure). Next to it laid 4 pieces of cold deepfried fish, that looked like (in Dutch fashion) potato croquette (I had one bite: DISGUSTING) that laid, two by two, in huge pools of cheap cocktail sauce. I ate the lettuce, just to make sure i ate something. This was the WORST food i ever had in Italy and possibly worst food ever. So glad it is over!! I will NEVER go back there and will tell people who enjoy food and dining to stay far away from here

the food was really good value and the hosts were fantastic, will visit again next year. The town is lovely place to visit, head through the arch for the best views.Salve!

... Hoshi, una nuova "Stella" del Cilento..
We decided to visit here reasonably late on a Saturday evening, as it was one of the only places that had tables available. (At this point, we were all very tired and stressed, so this probably didn't help our experience). The menu has a lot of choice, but was rather confusing - it did not really highlight which dishes were suitable as starters, mains or sharers. This meant that some of us had large meals, whereas others were disappointed with the tiny dishes they received. In general, the food was fine, but nothing special (in particular, the teriyaki was nice but the rice was cold). All things considered, I would question the value for money eating here. Furthermore, the service wasn't great and, although the food was delivered reasonably quickly, the servers were not very attentive or friendly. I'm aware that we didn't order a selection of dishes to share (as was probably the idea), but we were disappointed with our visit and wouldn't choose to come again.
