The choices are more than enough, almost all are traditional Greek recipes, as they have been prepared and cooked for decades. The atmosphere is one of a taverna wit the familiar tune.Service is fast, and prices are good.Overall an excellent value for money proposal.

We chose Koukounari randomly among many restaurants located in cholargos. Based on the recommendation of the waiter (who was super helpful and courteous), we tried the koukounari salad, the stuffed mushrooms and the handmade ravioli with smoked pork and they were all amazing. We were delighted to have picked this place which serves good food in a proper and neat setting.

Visited one evening - nice open room, sat by the window. Good choice of starters, particularly enjoyed the salads. This was followed by a chicken dish that was very tasty. Good choice of wines. Service friendly and helpful. Worth a visit, especially if want something a little different with a Cretan style.

We visited this place on a hot summer afternoon. There is a yard but I wouldn't suggest it on a hot afternoon. We sat inside where there was air-condition so everything was nice. The plates are Mediterranean with a gourmet preparation and presentation. The staff was very friendly although it would be more professional if the staff knew details about the plates they server. We would visit it again during winter.

A modern Italian restaurant with warm decoration and traditional ambiance, a Trattoria with fresh pasta, pizza and Italian desserts, all homemade.
A lovely Italian restaurant (despite the French name!), with beautiful, smart/casual ambience, delicious food, very decent wine list, and truly outstanding service (warm, attentive but not overbearing, genuinely knowledgable, a joy!). Highly recommended.PS Can I encourage you to open a French bistrot, next? A proper one, which Athens lacks. You can call it a nice Italian name... :)

The restaurant's philosophy is clear and precise: years of experience, imagination and creativity seek out the best nature generously has to offer every season and evolve it into a faultlessly delicious result based on clean, authentic and imaginative dis
We had their menu degustation for their 10 years and it was great and great value for money! Everything was delicious, well cooked and the main courses were big portions! Service was excellent also. The place was very nice. It was one of the best meals we had until now and if we visit Athens again we will go back for sure! The quality of food and service was not lacking much compared with a michelin star restaurant. Your review is greatly appreciated. We are very pleased you enjoyed your experience at Psomi & Alati. We'll be happy to see you again!

An extremely rich menu based around traditional Greek ingredients, combined to make a sort of ânouveau Greekâ cuisine. Unfortunately the dishes are poorly prepared. All the grilled meats where either under or over cooked, the service is average with long waiting times and embarrassing responses from staff. The space is pleasant especially the exterior areas, but the food is rather disappointing.

Almost a year later and I must admit the food is delicious! Nothing like my previous posting!Their meats are truly cooked just the way you like. Not real good on the rare aspect, but you have to insist.Best food item are the lamb chops.

A well-deserved ranking. A finely decorated place with highly professional waitresses serving nicely presented and ambrosial food. We tried their dish of the day which was beef and another which was fish and they were both amazing.
