Ci siamo presi antipasti e pizze... Consiglio vivamente.. Un saluto a Eleonora e Giada. Complimenti

The secret to the success of this family-owned business is largely due to chef and owner, Lorenzo Pazzagliaâs enthusiasm for authenticity and his generosity in his approach to food. A 14-page menu offers dozens of varieties of fresh and savory recipes for pastas, pizzas, risottos, and insaladas that inspire and satiate the hungriest of patrons. First-time customers and regulars eat family style, sharing culinary creations bursting with native flavors. The waiters are kind, gracious and friendly (and Lorenzo will be among them â you will find no greater host!). The reasonable prices, lavish servings and incredible flavors ensure return customers. Note: If you wish to secure a table for dinner on a weekend, it is best to call ahead for reservations. The name Poggio translates to âhill.â Located above the city of Cagli, bordered by a row of large shading trees, Il Poggio stands in stark white against the blue sky. The furnishings are simple and casual. The restaurant seems to beckon to customers to come in, have a seat and be among friends. One of the most famous items on the menu is Spaghetti alla Carbonara, a creamy dish of pasta, cheese, eggs, pancetta (bacon), and black pepper. If you donât experience this specialty of the house plus the Carbonara Tartufo, you are missing out on one of the most incredible flavor sensations of your life.In addition to the savory pastas, Il Poggio is known for departing from traditional Italian cuisine and celebrating the passion that Lorenzo has for spiceâexceptionally hot spice. Lorenzo cultivates and imports more than a hundred hot chili peppers from around the world to incorporate into his menu. Some are served fresh, others dried and ground. The most potent are simmered and reduced to a frightening intensity.Scaldingly hot peppers including Naga Viper, Trinidad Scorpion, Bhut Jolokia (ghost pepper) and Smokin Edâs Carolina Reaper can be added to a special selection of pizzas and pastas to challenge the bravest of diners to a sweltering contest of wills. Customers who successfully attempt to consume the âworldâs hottest pizzaâ at Il Poggio not only gain bragging rights, they also receive a commemorative T-shirt and what is certain to be a raging case of indigestion. Rustic rosemary bread is drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with rock salt. Mushrooms saute in olive oil. Lush ripe melon is cut into slices and set aside on a tray filled with prosciutto. Delightful aromas of butter, cheese, and truffles fill the air. Just as art is an expression of an artist, cooking reveals the personality of the chef. At Il Poggio, Lorenzo Pazzaglia reveals his passion, imagination, and generous spirit. He creates meals that not only nourish the body, they nourish the soul â one overflowing plate at a time.thanks a lot and a nice read what you wrote for us super likeable photographer you and all your friends -Friends and always a pleasure to have you as a customer but mostly as friends thank Lorenzo and all the staff of poggio

Located in Acqualagna, L'Osteria del Parco offers a variety of dishes, especially with the local speciality, truffle.ProMy 'tagliatelle alle verdure fresche' were excellent. The same can be said on the other courses. The menu offers a rich variety of dishes with well chosen fresh ingredients, underlining the chef's ability and creativity. The service is friendly and discrete.Nice modern place.ConOnly downside, you easily eat too much here. The chef prepares abundant plates.Bottom lineA must go

Il Tartufo is in a beautiful space with good ambiance and friendly, attentive service. They have a regular menu consisting of smaller bites and a few pasta dishes, as well as a special menu centered around the truffle of the moment. Truffles are about the simplest ingredient to make anything taste good. Its like a foods unfair advantage against other dishes like athletes using steroids. Just add something truffle and it immediately tastes better. So I went into this place having high expectations. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

In the middle of the old town of Acqualagna (PU) is located our restaurant, a real gem of tastiness, in which you will have the chance to savour all our dishes: from starters to desserts and from meat to the valuable truffle; you will have this opportunit
We had a great evening there! The waiter was suuuper nice and brought, just for us, vegetarian antipasti (not on the menu), because we are vegetarians.Everything tasted amazing. Prices were ok (tagliatelle tartufo, primi piatti, 12â¬).Especially, the tiramisu (8â¬) as dessert was heavenly! My only problem was that we were charged one order twice. We paid 18⬠more than we had to, but unfortunately only noticed it when it was already too late.I don't know if that was on purpose, but you might want to check twice.Other than that a great evening!

The philosophy of our restaurant cannot exclude the nature of our farm, which rears pigs and cattle but also offers a wide variety of courses which are the outcome of our best culinary tradition. So you can eat "crescia sfogliata" (a kind of puff pastry f
This was a real treat. Despite being in high season, there seemed to be only a few people eating here and the food and atmosphere were superb. We sat outside, overlooking the beautiful mountains in the distance. Food-wise, the portion sizes were alarmingly large and we couldnât eat nearly all of what we ordered. We shared a salami plate between two of us and, with an enormous basket of warm, mixed breads, and a couple of side dishes thrown in, this would have been more than enough to eat. The meats and other things on the menu, I understand, were raised/grown on the site and the quality was superb. Nevertheless, we had ordered pasta with wild, rather tough, asparagus and a side dish of rather bland raw tomatoes and onions that we were too full to eat. Our friends had dishes similarly delicious to our own: pasta with truffles and gnocchi with rabbit sauce (amazing, and enjoyed by an 11-year-old). This would be a lovely place to stay and is certainly a lovely place to eat. The food is probably similar to what you can get in many Italian places, but the view is incomparable.
