We go to Salahedin's at least once every two months. They have the best Shawarma sandwiches in the neighborhood (in my opinion) and their hummus and falafel is definitely better then all the other restaurants in the neighborhood. The service is awfully slow, and their ambiance needs an upgrade and cleaning, but I guess that's how they keep their prices down.
What a great find!! Five of us enjoyed an amazing meal here. We started with the Syraan Appetizer, a mixture of hummus, tahini, labneh, and warm pita bread. Everything tasted homemade, and there was more than enough on one plate for all of us. We all had the Syraan BBQ, which was a huge plate consisting of a kofta kabob, shish tawook, a shrimp kebab, meat patty, and one of the tastiest lamb chops I have ever had. Oh, there was so much food, but it was so good we could not stop eating. The waitress was friendly, and carefully explained all of the dishes that we were not familiar with. We were made to feel very welcome in the restaurant. All of the flavors were absolutely delicious, and next time we are in the Paterson area we will definitely come here again.

Best falafel in town hands down, chicken and lamb shawermah are good but they are nothing close to the true Middle Eastern shawermah style, the chicken shawerma is more like a chicken wrap with good garlic sauce. They have great specials, and most of the entrees I tried we excellent, the service is good and the staff are friendly.

All I can say is wow was this delicious, well-price, and satisfying! The hummus and shwarma are amazing! The service is really good: the waiters are very friendly and attentive to you. The outside patio is also an added bonus too! I would definitely go there again.

Dinner included amazing, soft fresh pita bread, olives, pickles and a salsa type thing. We ordered stuffed grape leaves and shared the meat platter. There was so much food! finish off with a mint tea and roll yourself home. We arrived about 4:30 pm on a Saturday and didn't leave until almost 6:30. They never made us feel like they wanted us to leave, it was a great meal to catch up with a friend!

Took my kids to eat Middle Eastern Food for the first time and they loved it. My daughter usually sticks to beef so she had the beef shishkobob entre, my son and I had the lamb shishkobob. Meet was so tender, tasty and just the right size portion. My daughter tried the lamb and said next time she will order that. The hummus was excellent. My son grabbed a menu and said we will definitely be returning.
