Relating to a review left by the eager tourist there is a consensus that this was indeed an insult to Lebanese cuisine. The mains were not good and when leaving a significant portion the waitress didnât even ask why. As Gordon Ramsey once said, a sign of an insecure chef is the amount of coriander that is used. Anyway, the hummus was lackluster and quite frankly, tasteless. Their babaganoush was impossible to identify and this was also practically unfinished. Furthermore I can tell the kibbeh is frozen. in all honesty I shouldâve avoided the restaurant in general. Being a shisha lounge, you get the constant malodorous waft of cigarette smoke and as a non-smoker it is incredibly off putting whilst trying to enjoy the already sub-standard food doused in coriander. I will not return as it was a disappointing night and I see no chance of it improving. Most importantly, the restaurant is by no means cheap, so the price does not seem justified. Perhaps like tumeric gold, this restaurant is living in its former glory. The opinion of this critique of food who doesnât know the difference between coriander and parsley is opposed by the general consensus of diners who write their reviews on here as leaving with a satisfied experience. Not forgetting to mention the vast number of Lebanese and Syrian diners who travel from afar to dine with us. Perhaps one should review their pallet before insulting experienced chefs that donât use -as Gordon Ramsay says â coriander on their food â .... we look forward to not seeing you again.

I have visited here twice now and both times brought guests to Coventry. Both times we have had the mezza board sometimes with a few added extras and have been incredibly satisfied. The food was incredible and being able to sit in the Bedouin tent out the back added to the experience.Reasonable corkage charge and the staff were polite and very helpful in helping us with the menu.

My friends and my family used the restaurant for dinner. Food was tasty especially lamb was really tender. Veg tagine also really good(photo). But for that prices you can find bigger portions. I mean main meals. And cleanliness wasnât on highest level.
