For many weeks I drove past Rico's Tacos Moya. It wasn't until my sudden addiction to tacos that I braved a stop in. Rico's is on Southbound Route 1 in a sketchy area of Woodbridge. Please don't let the neighborhood nor loitering day-laborers deter you-- the food is worth it!Step into Rico's and you're immediately immersed in your own Mexico. The dark wooden tables, the Mexican country music... it's all yours. Their menu encompasses all manner of Mexican cuisine, but the real takeaway here is the taco!Your tastes may be different, but I'm in love with their Tacos Al Pastor. Truly the best I've had anywhere. Marinated bits of pork, cilantro, and a seasoned tortilla all amount to the best lunch decision I'll make; and all at $2.50 a pop.If you're in the area and even simply "like" Mexican food or tacos, you owe it to yourself to give this place a shot.

I came here for lunch after being told that the chicken, yuca and green sauce here was amazing and that it was better than my favorite place for this type of food, which is Guapos. The service here was friendly - with a smile. Their menu prices were amazing, very inexpensive! I got a half chicken with beans and yuca. The yuca overall was nice, but some pieces were dense and tough to chew. The beans were flavorless, I had to use an entire cup of green sauce to spike them up a little. The chicken had potential, meaning that some pieces had the charcoal and spice flavoring I wanted, but much of it didn't. Also, the wing was so well-done that it was inedible. The spice mixture used for the chicken was nice, too bad there wasn't more of it on the chicken. The green sauce was amazing and definitely nice and spicy! When it comes to the dining room, this was more of a place to sit, very little to no decoration, a couple of TVs playing Spanish dance hits, but it simply wasn't very clean, warm and inviting.Overall, the food was good for the price and I'd go back. But if I want real flavor, I'll stick to Guapos.

Went here for father's day and we had a pleasant experience. We stayed there for hours sampling the various offerings. It was really nice to have staff bring meat to the table. The chicken with bacon and chicken with cheese were both excellent and the staff was very friendly. I sampled several cuts of meat that were hit and miss. All tasted great but some cuts were overcooked and some were undercooked. Overall pretty good though. My son loved the salad/fruit bar, but he chose to try the ribs and they were very tough. Desserts were excellent. I had the chocolate mousse and my wife had flan. Overall experience was positive but not outstanding and adult prices are a bit steep for the quality, which is why I only gave 4 stars.

The Corner Q is a full service restaurant serving Filipino-Latin-American cuisine.
I recall having some amazing home-cooked Filipino food a few years back w/some friends. I was impressed with the flavor combinations and variety of options. This restaurant is the closest I have found to that same style of home cooking and all at a fair price. The menu appears to have a mix of Latino, Filipino, and Puerto Rican dishes. The number of different options, most of which I had never heard of before, all sounded appetizing and made deciding my order difficult. The waitstaff was, thankfully, very helpful and provided a good rundown of the different options and what would be good for a first time customer.I started with a nice appetizer, moved on to the main dish, and then concluded with a nice dessert. The entire meal was very reasonable, considering how much I ordered and the portion sizes were just enough to be filling, but not so large as to be stuffed. Considering the price per dish, I'd say it was a well-managed menu.Overall, if you're looking for a good meal with a little kick, you have come to the right place. The food I ordered had a little kick to it, but nothing that would send you running for water. I seldom have the opportunity to say this, but my compliments to the chef of this establishment.

The food was tasty. The chicken was delicious and the chai Ken soup was loaded with vegetables and chicken.

I saw this restaurant with high reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to check it out for lunch. On the outside there was nothing special, but the inside was very cute. Everything was very clean. Service was excellent. Our server helped up pick out our meal.Maybe I do not each much authentic Venezuelan food, but I had expected more flavor. We had Empanadas and Arepas. The food was OK. I just wanted more. The green sauce saved the day though.

Not on the tourist track (note the many reviews from locals) but places like this are the real delight of travel! Easy to drive by, since the restaurant sign is small and sorta tucked behind the Hemibry catering sign, but worth the hunt. We tried may items from the menu, and these folks didn't miss a single note! The the generously filled Arepas to the flavorful (two-meal) Parillas, and from the perfectly executed Epenadas to the crunchy Tostones. All our mains and sides were delightful! A very friendly staff makes this small restaurant a must-visit-again stop for us!
