Donât understand the previous reviews raving about the restaurant. Friendly server and the positives end there. Food quality was terrible. Cassava meal completely overdone and left in deep fryer far too long, pork was entirely fat, had to be ground down and chewed forever. Taco trio was not good, particularly the steak taco which had very low grade beef. Final entree was presented sloppily, food all over the plate. Service was fine and friendly. First and last visit. Should be 2 stars but I donât like maligning places who seem to be striving to make a go of it. Still, a review of suppliers or choice of product when the restaurant places an order is needed here.
Most Popular Italian food in Telford, Pennsylvania, United States
What the two of us first thought might be a gem hidden away through a doorway in the back of a small Mexican grocery didn't turn out that way for us. That we were there with only one other couple in the restaurant on a Friday evening did give us pause. Our server was most pleasant and helpful to us first timers. The complimentary guacamole with chips was very good and seemed to be freshly made. Maybe we should have inquired more about the menu items. We each ordered differently. What we received was a tortilla filled with, we were not sure, ingredients. While not unpleasant, the flavors were not at all distinctive. Other than a side of green salsa, there was nothing else to accompany our choices. We had hoped for some side refried beans and mabe some sour cream and guac. This was a bit of a let-down experience for us.
Where to eat Pizza food in Telford: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We returned to this place as it had been pretty good the first time. This time we had a burrito and the enchiladas. Very tasty, and better than at some of the larger, fancier, more expensive Mexican restaurants in the area. The decor is plain, and it can be noisy, but we plan to return from time to time. Lots of Latin Americans were here, so you know the food is authentic.
