Two friends and I had dinner our first night in Raleigh at NC State. The place was packed as one would figure, college town on Saturday night. We were able to secure a table quickly. Abigail was our server and did a great job taking our orders and checking back on us. The food was good just not great. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup which was really good, chicken moist with lots of flavor. The enchiladas mole were quite good, the mole was good but not as flavorful as I expected, I love mole! The other two enjoyed their food. Chips and salsa were good. Would return if in Raleigh.

5 of us ate here for lunch and I highly recommend it. Its not a large restaurant but they will try and place tables close together for parties larger than 6. The decor was funky and great-the tequila margarita strong and tasty but not overpowering. Chips, salsa and guac arrived in an overflowing basket (small charge for refill) and the lunch options simply delicious. Refried beans were just ok. Bathroom was clean too which is much appreciated. The waitress was very attentive and even though they were fairly busy, we didnt wait long for our meals. Lunch was served until 2:30 pm.

My wife and I dined at the recommendation of friends. The restaurant is large and modern with tasteful decor and high ceilings. We ordered avocado stuffed with crab meat, Peruvian pepper bisque, scallops and the pork chop. Both appetizers were delicious. The avocado was stuffed with plenty of crab meat. The soup was spicy but not over the top and was served hot. It was also delicious. My bone-in pork chop was the best I have tasted by a wide margin. It was tender, tasty and served hot. The downer was my wife's scallops were served at almost room temperature which she didn't mention until finishing the meal. I am sure our excellent server would have made it right but too late at that point. She was disappointed.

This place serves Latin food, and the interior of the place is decorated with macabre dia de los muetros figures and wall decorations in bright colors. Appetizers came immediately, and the con queso and guacamole were fresh and tasty. Our tacos were also good and the steak was very tender.
